Hey guys, Few comments about this topic been covered enough now. Completely get it and I agree, just thought this showed why it doesn’t go down when we are at low tide. Unless something new or exciting or a massive high tide (Which would be cool to see) happens we will not come back. Appreciate all comments good and bad. Feedback is great, that’s how we can grow 👍
The whole situation is fascinating and shows what you guys are up against. It lets us non farming folk into the problems you have and can understand the frustrations you encounter better. I really hope someone from the EA watched this and gets in touch.
You need to look into hiring a Dutch drainage engineer to do a survey of the drainage system. When the Somerset levels flooded a few years ago all the EA would do,was shrug and say "we can’t do anything about it. It will just have to flood." Until they were shamed into action by Dutch specialists.

Incredible educational videos! Thanks for the education on the water drainage issues. Totally makes sense and the visuals are very helpful. Explains a lot as to the water on your fields. Keep up the good work Tom and Ginge.

You're getting lots of advice in the comments, but we're just hoping for an HEA. It's lots easier to do from our arm chairs. In my fantasy-fix, you gather the farmers together and just say "Never mind, we'll take it from here." Get your full-body-wellies on and get down there to have a look at what can be done. Really looking forward to seeing high-tide. Also want to have a closer look at those doors - I love the idea of Tom having a closer look, (SAFELY - thank you Andrew!). Love the drone shots! Very much enjoying this series. Somehow it's very compelling - we're all wanting to see a solution.
I love the comment from The ‘Mighty Ginger Warrior’ that if the farmers on the Fylde were managing the issue it would be sorted and they would be working to get it right! Government agencies have so much to balance and so many competing priorities so it would be very interesting if they would come and talk with you and TMGW. Another well made video that is informative and gets your point across.

A very interesting view on the pumping station
Not boring Tom and dad! It needs high lighting as it affects not only yourselves but I would think many others upstream too.
Have you made the EA aware you've made videos highlighting the problems? That may provoke them to get in touch with you.
I doubt this is the only river with this problem in the country.
I SOOOO want to see you stepping into the deep side. Tie off so dad can pull you back but you just take a single step in to show how deep it is.
Keep up the videos. This is what gets change happening and a fix getting pushed.
Physics and geography lessons in one 15 min video! I really hope this leads to a constructive discussion with EA. I’d love to see the water flowing and your land drained. I can’t imagine how frustrating this must be for you. Your dad’s oak tree metaphor is spot on!
Ginger is a very smart man. Love listening to him.
I hope someone from the EA comes forward to talk to you. I would love to hear them go up against your dad. His knowledge and enthusiasm is amazing. 👍
Hi Tom i love you videos watch them when they come out
Ginge knows his stuff. He should advise the EA.
The ginger man knows his history of the land. Smart, wise, old man. Giod job, Dad.
Great video tom, good to hear dads take on the environment agency's expert water system!! Get dad a 360 in im sure he enjoy cleaning it out.
This is part of farming and just as important to be aware of, please do the high tide. If nothing else it may get the necessary people to pull their fingers out to fix the problem.👌😉👌
Tom this was really interesting and would love to see it at high tide. But don't want you guys getting into bother. Great video Tom keep them coming
Great video Tom loving your videos a lot I drove past your farm today and I got so excited haha
