    Hayden Christensen was never a bad actor. George Lucas's direction was practically non-existent, the actors have insinuated as much, and on top of that the dialogue he was given was wooden asf. He deserves the respect he's getting now.

      many actors were given terrible lines and still pulled them off when Hayden didn't. so yes, he was a bad actor to me during the 2nd prequel, did better during the 3rd. it's not a fact. it's an opinion. you're not wrong for liking his acting and neither am i for not, but you are wrong for saying 'never a bad actor' as if it's a fact. subjective is not objective.

      Hayden has said he was told by George to try to mimic James E Jones' speech pattern. Long drawn out sentances, monotone ect. So i blame George only for the actual dialogue rathen than Haydens direction on it.

      Absolutely. It was the awful writing and non existent direction. Even Natalie Portman seemed bad, and she went to become an Oscar winning actress. They were all good actors, they were just given bad dialogues and no direction.

    Lucasfilm hired an eight year old (9 at time of filming) to play ten year old Leia.
    That says a lot about Lucasfilm's plans for the character of Leia in the coming years.
    I think we are watching the recasting of Leia for the future.

    @The Normies,
    36:54 Exactly! You watched all of Star Wars: Clone Wars, right? The episode with the younglings was a really great arc. That all went on their own separate adventure to find their own unique Kyber crystals--Kyber crystals call out to specific Force users. Jedi do not choose their Kyber crystal/light saber color, the crystal chooses them.
    37:48 I think she (Reva) was one of the Jedi younglings we saw training with the Jedi Master at the start of the episode. When asked what she expects to get out of finding Obi-Wan, she said what she's owed. I think she blames Obi-Wan for her master's death, her friends and her new life. Obi-Wan was supposed to be one of the best, and his student and friend, his the source of her pain. Finding/killing Obi-Wan will give her at the very least closure.
    37:58 The Inquisitors are former Jedi, the ones that chose to serve the Dark Side instead of accepting death.

    “I think these are all new characters” the grand inquisitor and the brother (I think it’s the fifth brother but might be wrong) are in rebels but the third sister is new. The other sister who I don’t think has been named yet is new as well I think. Also they don’t know that it’s vaders child. Since Vader thinks his wife died before childbirth he thinks his children are dead, they kidnapped her because she was bails daughter and bail and obi wan are friends

    • @atkim122
      @atkim122 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bail: "My wife and I always wanted a daughter." Meanwhile Luke: "....." And the fact it was completely unnecessary to separate them. Been years since I watched prequels but I don't think anyone outside of Padme and maybe her robot obgyn knew she was expecting twins. Hell, now that I think about it I don't even think Padme knew.

    • @terryqokov6999
      @terryqokov6999 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@atkim122 It's just odd, I think it's due to retroactively having to explain the sibling reveal & make it make sense when incorporated into the story. But I guess both hiding places make sense, Leia is protected within her family while Luke is in the last place Vader/the Empire would ever think to check (I guess? I've heard that justification somewhere & can see its validness).

    In Episode 6, Obi-Wan is still a broken man as he tells Luke that Vader is “more machine than man.”

    Reminder: They have not watched Rebels (hopefully that's just a 'yet'). While I understand we want to explain certain things to them that show up elsewhere in canon, try to let them get to those explanations the natural way instead of saying "they explain/show in _____ that ______". For instance, take how they ask "why, clones why?" during order 66. They'll get there. If it's something they probably should know or forgot, that's one thing, but try not to go spoiling this stuff.
    also: The series is giving them any relevant info they need at the moment.

    Vivien Lyra Blair who plays young Leia is actually cast pretty age appropriate. She is playing 10 year old Leia and she is actually 9 years old and will be 10 years old on June, 4. I know there were some questions from the Normies about her age with them saying she looks 5, but she was actually cast for the correct age. So far I think she is an amazing young Leia and does pull some Padme vibes at times too. Great casting in my opinion.
