Dude, idk what you’re talking about, cause I was raised Japanese and I love lotus chips. Maybe they weren’t prepared correctly? I like to fry up my own with spicy mustard, but I’ve had good pre-prepared vinegar flavored ones too.

Toasty hid a frame at about 9:16 that said "I chose to smoke" "This is what it cost me", and it had a picture of a raw whole chicken with a fish head smoking on it. He obviously takes his job seriously indeed.

Seaweed snacks are such a common thing to me that watching Peebs struggle to eat one is hilarious. It's like trying to watch a kid ride a bike for the first time.
I have taste tested a lot of Asian snacks in my taste testing videos on my channel and im still NOT used to seaweed flavour LOL. Im Iranian Canadian so Im very used to different flavours and spices but seaweed I just cant LOL.

The reason why your Japanese reading app didn't work on the Honey chips is because it's Korean. Also, the seaweed chips were just straight up seaweed. And tuna from a can is delicious.

Ive done a lot of taste testing videos on my channel trying asian and other cultural snacks and also im Iranian canadian myself so I have very trained set of tastebuds but for some reason I just CANT DO seaweed or anything with strong sea food flavours LOL

Edit: as was pointed out below, these chips aren't just Korean - it appears they were made jointly between a Japanese and Korean company. The bag that Peebs is opening is written on in Korean and almost certainly was packaged in Korea, however.

All of these sound delicious to me besides maybe the lotus root. I could eat tuna out of the can of even fresh out of the ocean every day. Seaweed is also great with it's only downside being that it's not very filling or satisfying.
Im Iranian Canadian and I have been doing international snack taste testing videos ( just like this one ) on my channel and my taste buds are very well trained. I think i will like most of the snacks he tried here except for the Seaweed and the tuna LOL.

I am a sufferer myself and I can confirm that although it might sound like a minor thing it can present serious difficulties. I cannot watch most tasting videos because the eating sounds drive me crazy - and 'chips' can often be the worst offenders.
Wish I knew what all the intense songs were that played when Peebs was having a hard time, some of that stuff sounds great

Fun fact: Since Pringles aren't sliced from the potato and instead pressed from what is basically potato dough, they actually aren't classified as a chip in America. If you read the small text towards the bottom of the can, it says Potato "Crisps".
I knew that and being a food taster on my own channel is the reason for me having this useless information in my head along with ,blue raspberry flavouring is actually based on a real fruit called Rubus leucodermis, more commonly known as the "whitebark raspberry" or "blackcap raspberry" for the blue-black color of its raspberry. Also that "FAKE BANANA" flavour is what real bananas used to taste like until they went extinct and scientists made our current bananas genetically !!!
Spam Sushi is actually called something else. It’s referred to as Musubi, but span sushi does kinda sum up what it is.
Also that was just straight up dried seaweed and it’s a pretty popular snack in both Japan and Hawaii. I personally love it, but that wasn’t true at first so I can understand why others wouldn’t.

Fried chicken with cheese is delicious. Here in Japan, you can find Korean food restaurants that sell UFO chicken, essentially a cheese fondue where you dip different flavors of fried chicken into. It's so good 😋
