12:00 - I didn't see anyone say it in the comments, so I'll just answer this one: Unlike here in the west where it's generally considered pretty gross, a perpetually runny nose on a character is seen as endearing in Japan, since it suggests the character is too young to wipe their nose themselves.
It's treated with roughly the same nonchalance as using snot bubbles to indicate a character sleeping.
Hmmm...I never knew that. Thanks for explaining. As a person whos live in a western country I was wondering why such an adorable character had a snot drip coming out of her nose?

I have never related to a comment as much as this. I bought the game three days ago. Getting the iron nuggets for the store was a freaking nightmare. I had to buy 5 nook miles tickets because every stone I came across gave me one or two nuggets and the rest just.. eggs. So many eggs.
@@lord_berkut2426 Eggs are always size 3 fish, so it's best to just avoid that size for now. c; nothing all that valuable is size 3 in April anyway so you won't miss anything. That's what I've been doing anyway! I got like three full stacks of water eggs

Can't you just select a different user when you're starting up the game from the home screen? Doesn't each user on the console have their own set of save files for each game?
@@jadenoki6888 No matter which user you select, you are still set the same way. This is the only game on the witch where different users do not get different files.
Funny story, my aunt was really into Breath Of The Wild but she could only play it on my cousins Switch, she bought her own switch just for that game. Recently my cousin got animal crossing and my aunt liked it. She originally started on my cousins switch but switched to hers after a day.

And this is exactly why I still want a Tomodachi game on the Switch. I miss having a bizarre little ant farm of Miis, drawing on their faces as they slept, writing songs, the RPG battles, etc.
Miis have yet to receive even a modicum of the kinda love they had on the 3DS when it comes to the Switch. Making new fighters in Smash is fun, but ultimately, I'm still dying to have another game based on the little weirdos.

@@katsala918 I sold my 3DS (long story, didn't really wanna), before I got the chance to try that game and that kinda thing is exactly my point. It was just these fun little games where the cast was entirely determined by the player, and in Miitopia's case, the entire playerbase. It feels so personal that way. Animal Crossing is great, but it's definitely not the same.

There is *a* gyroid who pops up to collect donations whenever you want to build a new bridge or incline, but there are no collectable gyroids in New Horizons.

As far as i know some dataminers found data for that. Supposedly diving is coming in the summer update with like 40 deep sea fish to catch there. But you know, as it goes with datamining and leaks, take that with a grain of salt

Well, Joan had been working for 70 years as early as GCN. The youngest she coulda been is 85. Time _does_ pass between games, so odds are, to keep to passage of time consistant she retired so she could rest for the rest of her life. She's gotta be like... 110 now.
