She's adorable, it must have been a sweet childhood growing up with a mum like that. I liked how she ignored Matt when he was wittering on, she chose to focus on her priorities instead, which was manoeuvring the vehicle safely. I'd feel safe in a car with her at the wheel.

Hey Mat, It was so nice to see this video and I truly enjoyed it.., thank you.. It was indeed great fun to see the chemistry between the mum and son when he tries to blend the new Tesla in to her life.. I lived in England for almost a decade before migrating to Australia 14 years ago.. and I still adore the English accent and it was indeed a great pleasure to listen to the English accent of Mat and his Mum.. Just less than two weeks ago I received my Tesla Model 3 after a little wait of 10 months..and I must say we are literally enjoying it.. although heaps to learn about the car.. Majority of Australians are still trying to convince the EVs..and it may be because of the long distance between the major cities, vast country sides and limited amount of charging stations across the rural areas.. But I can see a huge infrastructure of EV charging points are being evolved in the near future.. I`m waiting for a long drive perhaps between Melbourne to Adelaide(740km) where there are many EV charging stations available.. Thanks again..!

I would of bought her an electric car that was easier to get in and out of, and with less high tech to cope with ! and not to mention how dependant the driver is on tech with so much to go wrong in the years ahead as it ages ! Went with my parents today to sort out their first battery car, test drove a Tesla model 3 ( like your mums) and wow what a car all round, a complete revelation ! The acceleration compared to a combustion motor was night and day. Having said that I am personally in the process of purchasing an alpine A110. Battery is clearly the way of the future, but I still love a good combustion for emotion. Your Mum will love it. Cheers rom Brisbane.
Well, electric motors are the future, not so much the battery part. It’s a stepping stone and a means to and end but ultimately don’t want to be dependant on select handful of countries for rare Earth materials. We’ve already done enough political damage with the other rare Earth material we’ve been using for the past hundred years.

They're all NOT considered as rare earth materials, so check your facts please. And once these materials are in circulation, you can recycle them over and over again over the time.

Absolutely! My wife and I bought one a few months ago and love it. One of the pleasures is that people compliment the car so often, especially younger people. The positive brand perception with younger people in particular is insane.

Hey Mat, It was so nice to see this video and I truly enjoyed it.., thank you.. It was indeed great fun to see the chemistry between the mum and son when he tries to blend the new Tesla in to her life..
I lived in England for almost a decade before migrating to Australia 14 years ago.. and I still adore the English accent and it was indeed a great pleasure to listen to the English accent of Mat and his Mum..
Just less than two weeks ago I received my Tesla Model 3 after a little wait of 10 months..and I must say we are literally enjoying it.. although heaps to learn about the car.. Majority of Australians are still trying to convince the EVs..and it may be because of the long distance between the major cities, vast country sides and limited amount of charging stations across the rural areas.. But I can see a huge infrastructure of EV charging points are being evolved in the near future.. I`m waiting for a long drive perhaps between Melbourne to Adelaide(740km) where there are many EV charging stations available..

@@odaneeubank697 Yes she did , but she didn't try a T-Roc if I remember correctly ! as a 70 year old myself I don't think this was a good choice, I noticed how she almost bashed her head getting into the car, the door line is very low, and because she is of the older generation she will struggle with so much high tech in one go !
I would of bought her an electric car that was easier to get in and out of, and with less high tech to cope with ! and not to mention how dependant the driver is on tech with so much to go wrong in the years ahead as it ages ! I am looking at this as an old person myself, only someone below 60 will say 'rubbish' to what I have said lol. but don't be surprised if you see another video a year or two from now called "Why Mom sold her Tesla' 😅

Went with my parents today to sort out their first battery car, test drove a Tesla model 3 ( like your mums) and wow what a car all round, a complete revelation ! The acceleration compared to a combustion motor was night and day. Having said that I am personally in the process of purchasing an alpine A110. Battery is clearly the way of the future, but I still love a good combustion for emotion. Your Mum will love it. Cheers rom Brisbane.
Well, electric motors are the future, not so much the battery part. It’s a stepping stone and a means to and end but ultimately don’t want to be dependant on select handful of countries for rare Earth materials. We’ve already done enough political damage with the other rare Earth material we’ve been using for the past hundred years.
@@tonyhawk123 And that's where you're wrong. No Materials on a Tesla are considered rare and on a Standard Plus Model, they even got rid of Cobalt too. They're all NOT considered as rare earth materials, so check your facts please. And once these materials are in circulation, you can recycle them over and over again over the time.

China dominates the supply chain and i just dont think its wise to become dependant on china, or any other country for that matter. Recycling is one thing but with rapid growth thats obviously not going to cut it.

Absolutely! My wife and I bought one a few months ago and love it. One of the pleasures is that people compliment the car so often, especially younger people. The positive brand perception with younger people in particular is insane.
