    I do not recommend Billion. They promise A LOT and cant deliver. Has potential but needs more development.

    My favorite line is “…You send the invoice to the customer and the customer clicks on it and pays…”
    WOW
    Does this software even get the customer to pay? Now THAT is a miracle.
    I spend-no joke-as much time chasing payments as doing actual work!

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      LOL. It is time then to get your customers on auto-pay. Are you still billing them by the job? If so, it's time to streamline the cleaning into a contract where there is a set set of services at a set price that can be auto-charged on a recurring schedule. There is no need to reinvent the wheel at each cleaning - or chase money. As house cleaners, we clean. We are not bill collectors. 💛

      @@AskAngelaBrown I can get few people to pay upfront. I’m not kidding myself though: I know I’m not a great businessperson when it comes to money.

      @@harrietcraig6716 Perhaps, you should consider adjusting your policy & procedures to "Payment is due at time of service" Explaining that cleaning won't start until payment received.

    Can this app merge with quickbooks?

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question. According to Brilion's website, their software does offer integration with Quickbooks Desktop. It's best to reach out to Brilion's customer support team directly to confirm if the software also integrates with Quickbooks Online.

    Is there something like this for independent cleaners? I can’t invest the type of money this software requires. I also don’t need software that sends me leads, I just need software/phone app that allows me to manage my clients’ info, schedule, income, expenses, etc. I’ve looked at so many different iPhone apps but I can’t find one that works for what I’m needing to manage since I don’t have employees and I don’t want leads sent to me through an app.

      Brilion has a $30 a month plan which is for solo operators, that is roughly $1 a day. I don't believe you'll find any software that has the built in capabilities that most of the available maid service software has for less than $1 a day. And the investment is tax deductible and will save you hours in admin time. To me, it's a no-brainer.

      Yes, please keep me posted and let me know which one you decide to go with. I'm in love with this because it has so many features I haven't seen in a scheduling software before. (It has all the ones that make scheduling software so great) but lots more time-saving features important to a small business owner who has to multi-task to get all the admin tasks done.

      Sort of. It doesn't have blogs on it per se, but they can do a one time set up where there is an app that acts like a website that customers can access your information and book jobs and contact you, and pay for their service.

      Yes, this software allows you to do so much more for your software investment, and it saves you lots more time with the customer app. If I could wave a magic wand, every small business owner would get this to save the time and hassle in admin and customer onboarding tasks they wade through when starting a cleaning business.

    Hi Angela! Thanks so much for providing this information. I currently use 2-software programs: ResponsBid and Jobber. ResponsiBid, I use for online booking (and Jobber also), but what I like with ResponsiBid is that their software put together bids (quotes) with options {Good, Better, Best} including initial cleaning cost for recurring service requests. I'm wondering if Brilion offers the same as ResponsiBid. Jobber allows for customers to request service directly from our website, but lately I've found it to be counterproductive due to the would be customer not being available after the request being placed. Does Brilion provide Good, Better, Best proposals and/or do you think it will provide more than what I'm currently getting from 2-different software programs? Thanks in advance for your feedback.💯

    I need a service that offers everything I need for clients, online booking, and including bookkeeping services and payroll. An all in one service.

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think I've ever found an "all-in-one" software I would recommend. The reason is the software is designed to do two different things. Payroll and accounting software is so robust and goes into so many different investing, saving, checking/credit, payroll, tax options that it is really best to find two different pieces of software that specialize in their own area of expertise.
      It's kind of like saying you want to meal to be the appetizer, main course and desert all in the same entre. Yes, it's possible, but you will sacrifice something. While they all are part of the same meal - they are all specialties of their own. Does that make sense?

      I am familiar with them both, but I am more familiar with Brilion. I like the Brilion has a customer app - so the customer can add, update and change their CRM information without the manual assistance of the cleaning business owner. If I had to choose one for a start up company I'd go with Brilion.

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is better than anything I've found yet. I'm really excited because it's leaps above most programs that are just business-driven. This partnered with the customer app replaces yourself as an admin for your business with the customer adding and updating all their own information, scheduling, or rescheduling their own appointments, etc. 😍👏💛

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has some of the same features and a bunch of ones that ZenMaid doesn't have. I like the intuitive nature of Brilion and the double fact that the customer app can import the customers info into your CRM without any manual entering. The customer does all the heavy lifting with updating their records, you as the cleaning business don't.

    Maybe you’ve already covered something like this but I broke a bottle of nail polish in my bathroom and it got all over the wainscoting and into the grout between the tiles. Is there any good way to clean this up, I’m afraid nail polish remover will ruin the wall paint.

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If it's on the paint, you are correct, nail polish remover will take off the polish and the paint. As for the grout, if it is a sanded grout, it can be scraped out carefully with a grout saw (paid link so you can see what it looks like amzn.to/3yBLsOP) and you can use a plastic razor (amzn.to/3R2OqTo) to get it off the tile after it has dried. You may have to remove the polish and then spot paint that area.
