I'm from India and financially crippled due to my husband's finance controlling tactics, my marriage is of 30 years , My younger son is helping me out and supporting me , I am watching your videos and have learnt lot from it but , what can I do when lawyers are compromised at the hands of my husband's money power. How many times I have to go on changing my lawyer and how to tackle such situations because the lawyers are too intimidating me now is my problem, they are deliberately delaying the hearing stage by one or the other way.

Yes, after decades in a relationship with my narcissistic spouse, we agreed to split a year and a half ago. Since then, he has done everything he can to run up my legal costs, delay the sale of our family home, and avoid a separation agreement. We are still living, although separately and uncomfortably, in the same house. Against legal advice, I am thankful that I was able to support our young adult children (who I love so much) to leave home and start living their lives independently while I continue to deal with their father. Last month, he finally appeared in court. Leaving him is costly and emotionally draining but I am determined to live my remaining years free from his manipulative and punitive control.

At the time my whole world was turned upside down. and I told him that. From day 1 of our relationship I told him that communication is the key.... not realising that communicating was never going to be a strong point. I question everything and he clammed up and did not respond except superficially.. yes or no answers or ignoring what I've asked..

My narc husband of 21 years threatened to ruin every aspect of my life. Financially, professionally, ruin my reputation etc.
He wouldn't get divorced and kept disappearing and changing lawyers. He didn't turn up at court. I had to take out loan after loan whilst working a full time job, paying the mortgage and looking after my three sons. There were times I went without food. We were living pay check to pay check and my overdraft at the bank was maxed out.
Eventually the judge ordered his arrest for contempt of court. He soon signed all the papers.
Then dragged the sale of our house out for two years. Once again the court ordered him to take the next fair offer on the house. I look back now with relief. Getting rid of him was the best thing I did.
Freedom and peace is worth every penny.

I have been doing this ,and ignoring them in subtle ways, and I finally left just after New Years Eve for good. The only way to win is to leave the relationship for good! I have no desire to be with a 57 year old toddler.
    Not attractive.
    Move on goodbye exactly!
I also told her I have more options than her. I believe this, and I suspect she does as well.
    She made this last projection
She stated: "You can't hurt me anymore" PROJECTION to PERFECTION!!!

Thank you for all your help. I just had a custody trial for my 7 year old who was in the custody of my ex for 2 years. His motion was full of lies and later in the trial he contradicted himself saying something completely different. We are still waiting judges orders but it was glorifying saying thats not true. Here’s the evidence. He tried saying I showed no interest in my child’s life. I kept all emails and documentation for the last 2 years. 🎉 save everything!!

Hi all. Red flags. My opinions from fact. The male and female versions are very charming ,funny, usually pristine in appearance, loud but self effacing .some act like a victim. If someone befriends you,REMEMBER,You dont have to be friends with everyone follow your gut ever single time. They copy your personality so you talk and talk, they want to destroy you right from the beginning to get your light to survive. They gossip big time.they never tell you any feelings they have,or insecurities, they ask what your upto but you dont get a proper interested response. They will give tons of compliments on your apperance but not in your skills etc, they love to be admired, they are full on needing and taking your time, they hate to be alone. They give back handed snide remarks ,mimmick you and cant ever say sorry. They ask to meet up and then guide the whole thing in what they want to do. Change plans last minute. They act loving sexual,it doesnt last, they are in bed with you, thinking of their next victim, keeping a new supply i a closet just encase they are abandoned. They are actually quite boring,no debth, dead eyes ,they know everything about others or have done great things.on and on. They dont listen well,no empathy. They are fakes. Just be private until you really know someone. 🙏🏼

You are wonderful! Thank you! I'm reading your book. I can use this bag of tricks because I still see him in social circles. I wish I could stay away from him, but we are in the same hiking group. I'm a caregiver and it's hard to find another group that fits my schedule. He told me when we started dating that I should not let others know that we were together in the group. He said to act like it was platonic, even after he asked me to be his girlfriend. Basically I was his "secret" in the group. Now that we broke up, the new woman he met in the group he acknowledges their together in front of others. He's rubbing it in my face. He would be driven crazy with all these tactics. He is indeed a narcissist.

I agree. I would like to know what Rebecca can advise in case of this possibillity. I would think to document...but I suffered so much with brain fogg and other fights to survive in every area of the house( and his working from home since covid uptill now...having his temper and rage of the frustrations of his work and people that struggle to get on or understand his indifference); right here in our home. It is toxic! I'm to afraid to report him to get out of the house and back to the office. But that would help so much. Horrible person to live with. I would like to hear about trust worthy recording advices that could be recomended and could be use in court.

Yes!!! Oh my goodness I did most of this all at once much of it naturally because it was just “too much insanity ridden drama”. … however this became a crap show when I removed myself with in the residence so I had to go a step further and move out of the residence, to regain some sane control and composure. This made it easier to see all of the manipulation and disingenuous apologies…. Of which I still called out … SMH
My personality doesn’t do well with these types because I can only keep my mouth shut for one second….especially when the decisions are dumb as hell or acts of poor character. I disagreed and called out stuff as soon as the mask started to crack.

I did not suffer violence within this relationship fortunately. Maybe as we didn't spend enough time together for me to stand my ground. I did when we were around each other. Towards the end I made sure I left no stone unturned. He would apologise if I caught him in a lie. I encouraged him to tell me the truth if he wanted to help himself and that truth created respect.. He'd spent his whole life lying andanipulating. Iwas so shocked despite early red flags... (you don't exactly see them as red flags as such until you reflect. If someone tells you about past behaviour that isn't cool you think they would not mention it unless they had changed.. Yes they give you loads of clues about past relationships whilst either saying they have changed or boasting how if they weren't happy they just walked.

Totally! My 43 year old daughter. She would never take no for an answer. I believe she was born with it. When I was spoon feeding her baby food as an 8 or 9 month old baby, she would look at me and shove her hand into the back of her throat and propel tons of vomit all over me. What baby even knows how to do that? Not just one time, over and over again. She would also smear poop all over the wall and her crib. If she saw it upset me, she loved it and would keep doing it. At about nine years old she tried to blackmail me. She threatened to tell my parents I had bought myself a leather jacket on sale when I still owed them money if I didn't do something or buy something for her. As soon as she could talk she would compliment strangers on their clothes or tell women they were pretty. It was really weird. As a teenager would lie about what restaurant she ate at. When I asked her what she ate, she would have to admit she didn't eat there because she didn't know their menu and I did. I truly believe she is a demon seed.

The C-Narc in my life always called his put-downs, name calling, comparing, criticism and belittling of me "constructive criticism". Mine never once blew up my phone until he knew I was visiting a guy friend. He was drunk and I assumed that's why he did it. Other than that he never lacked boundaries. I did because I became obsessive.

He tried to change by himself many years ago when someone called him a psychopath. That was in his early 20's when I first knew him. Everyone knew he was a bit 'off kilter' .. even he knew but we thought maybe he had ADHD (ADD) He didn't want to be a psychopath! Tried to change his negative behaviour. Knowing what I now know about there's no way he could just try to reinvent himself (If anything he may have become the worst version possible of himself and developed into a fully fledged member of 'Malignanant Narcissists club' He honed his craft'.

Do you offer guidance in how to deal with a aggressive, harassment driven male narc who returned to the scene of the crime after a 2 year relationship. Very hard to experience yet believe. Information is being shared with dangerous people.
Have made myself scarce. Hard to do. Being followed. Any inspiration would be treasured.

I'm five years in dealing with a narcissist,my mother is her source which stupidly I didn't know,I have great fun now feeding my mother rubbish stories because I know it gets fed back, I have friends my mother has no access to which is wonderful because they work on my friends if they can get to them to tell them stories about me, I have lost countless family members and friend's because they can get to them, I would dearly love to know what they tell these people to turn them against me ? Why do they hate me so much? It's because I'm a good person, people like me,and they are insane, scary and insecure, she has won one round by taking my son away from me but I'm on to her now☺

🙋🏻‍♀️ My severely NPD Chinese mother does this thing where during the process of me gray/yellow rocking and transitioning into no contact (without any explanation from me, of course, she’s fully aware of what she said and did) where she’ll harass everyone around me, including my husband and MIL, blowing their phones up with texts and calls pretending like she’s genuinely confused about why she’s being blocked when in reality she just refuses to be ignored due to the need for control and her ego.
What is this behavior/action of hers called? I cannot find anything about it anywhere, it’s so frustrating.
What should the people around me do? Should they also block her?
    Please help ☹️

I can’t take the abuse anymore I’m 50 and just going through the process of disassociating myself from this situation I can’t take the pressure anymore and the lies that my Monster 👿 I mean Mother is trying to shame me into bending to her version of reality by devaluing my pain and suffering. I simply will never be and have never been giving the same treatment as she gives my other siblings. I refuse to be her punching bag any longer or be one of her sick followers like my siblings are! She never did give me the same respect of keeping my own personal hurt that I mistakenly thought I could cry to her and express my hurt feelings her lol what a shame why I don’t have the same respect as my other siblings where she keeps their feelings secret but displays my pain like it’s a joke is so hard for me to swallow. I’m having a war in my head with mind exploding realizations that I’m just now unraveling at 50 in therapy!!! I’m bent but not broken … I don’t need a group of followers to validate my upbringing and abuse to anyone .. she’s been on the hunt to call me out to all our extended family and I refuse to play her nasty game. I choose silence and if I never speak to my parents again they will have to answer for their lies and actions or lack there of one day! I am proud to say I’m not raising my child in the same twisted fake reality.., EYES WIDE OPEN FOR THIS SCAPEGOAT!!

I've been manipulated, gaslighted, and threatened on a daily basis. Some of the threats were he was going to kill himself if I didn't do what was asked, he would punch pillows or sofa, stand up against me and yell at my face, stand behind the car and not let me leave, sometimes we would be driving and he would threaten to swerve and hit any truck, hold my arms and shake me, push me aside to a wall, and much more. My in-laws were also very verbally abusive towards me. I wasn’t allowed to visit my family or friends. If I did or wanted to, I had to be ready for an argument. Every day I was reminded that I am nothing and that I was not worth fighting for and that I don't meet the standards of being married to their son. Recently, I found out he was cheating on me and had a girlfriend. After seeing the texts and pictures, I became numb. I've been a good wife, I listened to every insult and fight. I never gave up what I knew, thanks to this hacker who's helped me to extract enough information from his device. Someone on here shared a link to the hacker who helped cloned his phone without physically touching it. All I did was send his phone number to him and through a remote link sent to my email, I was able to access all of his texts, emails, Facebook and Instagram chats, real-time call listening and his long deleted messages as if the phone was physically with me. Perhaps, you are in a similar situation and you need help you can get in touch with him

My sister, the Narc, had a baby when she was a teenager. 1960’s. For YEARS, she would tell me how she hates men bcz our father forced her to give up her baby. That this horrible situation of not raising her baby destroyed her & made her horribly mean. Well, years later, she meets & lives w her daughter & destroyed that relationship. And Years after that, I reminded her how upset it used to make her that her baby was put up for adoption. No joke. She says to me. “I never once said that. I wanted to give her up. I was glad to not have to raise her”. I was FLOORED. For years she used the situation to justify her crazy…. Then she turns around & tells me that I was wrong… that she never said it! I think Narcs are missing half their brains!! That’s a tiny example. She did hundreds of cruel manipulative things during mine & siblings lives. For the 2nd time, I’ve cut contact And my life is once again peaceful. We’ve all cut contact , the only way for sanity to return to life
