@brandonjones9998 this is a first for him playing the lead villain for sure. And the fact that this movie is really us seeing events play out from his point of view is also a first.
@@IntegratingReelPerspecti-od7xh He was the lead villain in "O". Not to mention he was the narrator in that so everything played out from his point of view.
@brandonp.6051 for some reason that film went under my radar when it came out. I was more aware of films like The Faculty and Here on Earth which had come out around that time (late 90's/early 2000's)
Looks like Mary Beth had infected Zeke all along, on year after the event at Herrington High School, Zeke starting experiencing weird feelings like he could not explain what it was, maybe it was the homemade ecstacy that he snorted, or the Cephalopod that was not completely destroyed after Mary-Beth was wasted. Soon enough, he leaves Ohio finds the girl of his life and becomes a firefighter but those urges kept coming back. Now the alien has completely taken over. :P
Josh Hartnett nailed this villain role in this movie.
Save him. Catch me? Save him. Catch me?

Never thought I’d see Josh Hartnett in a villainous role
Watch him in Sin City. He has a very small villainous role in that film.
@ yeah but I mean a major villainous role like this movie

I actually didn’t think he was the butcher until seeing this scene, though this explains why he got many innocent people killed earlier.

Love it
Definitely an M. Night twist.
Josh Hartnett faded for a while but came back with a vengeance in this film.
