    Good day, may I ask your opinion about Honda City turbo in comparison with Civic 1.8 and Mazda cx5 2.0? (I know it’s a different type of car but still interested)
    Mostly interested in terms of driving, suspension and acceleration.
    Thank you!

    • @675nt9
      @675nt9  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are right, the three cars you mentioned are in 3 completely different classes. Not quite sure how to compare them but here's out best try:
      The CX5 handles its weight quite well, and feels like a sedan, albeit with a lot more space and a lifted driving position.
      The Civic in general drives like a lot like a Go Kart; the front is sensitive, the steering feels tight, and the driver sits very low down. The City on the other hand feels like a small car (which is what it is). Imagine a Mini, but not quite as good (for obvious reasons). Similar driving characteristics though. Something else important about the driving characteristics is that the Civic 1.8 has an NA engine, whilst the City has a turbo engine, thus the Civic's power delivery is more linear, and predictable, if that matters.
      Hope that helps!

    Would love to know where would you place the City RS on the overall ranking among its competitors

    • @675nt9
      @675nt9  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Realistically speaking, the City's competitors available in Thailand would be the Mazda 2 (1.3 & 1.5T), Honda Jazz (1.5), The Toyota Yaris (1.2), and the Nissan Almera (1.0T). In other places, perhaps the Kia Rio, and the VW Polo too, though we're not quite familiar with those. Options, comfort, functions, driving experience, etc. considered, in our humble opinion we think the Mazda 2 and the City 1.0T are up there at the top. The City out-performs the Mazda, but the Mazda does feel a touch more premium. The Mazda is also smaller and more nimble, but the City is more comfortable and less tiring on longer journeys. As always, it really depends on what you're looking for!

    Are you using Apple Carplay or Android Auto or WebLink?

      Apple CarPlay here. We believe Android Auto is also support, but we're not too sure; do check the options available in your country.

    Can ask sir. If the sport mode manual was upshift it by itself in high rpm? Or it will not shift, if you are not up shifting?

    • @675nt9
      @675nt9  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Once you get to the redline, the car will automatically upshift for you. That is, you cannot bounce off the limiter. In neutral, there is also a rev limiter, at around 4000rpm.

      That’s probably subjective, but both each have their own pros and cons. The Thai-spec Almera (where we’re based) come with very small wheels though, which we find slightly strange. The City has larger wheels on the higher trims, which we feel fit the car a little better.
