DKC2 - Animal Antics (Speed run - PAL)

I'm somewhat working on a nice speed run of DKC2 (PAL) in total, but there are a few levels I don't know about whether I've optimized the path to follow. Here's one of them.
Currently, I'm trying to follow the path as shown in this vid, but I'm not sure if it is optimal... At least I get through the dreaded Squawks part with only the hit after the DK barrel being accidental. ^_~

After he gets hit the first time he hits a DK barrel, but its so fast, that you dont see it. You just hear it ^__^

wtf u should of died at the squawk part or did u hit a barrel to fast that it glitched and didint show an extra kong o.O
