The Ford Performance X-pipe will add a bit of a raspy tone, with some pop after you shift at mild acceleration. The Borla resonator will reduce the raspy and provide a deeper tone overall and less total volume. The Ford Performance Sport mufflers are some of my favorite, they still have a little bit of that old school fox body Flowmaster sound from the 90s, but they are more of a straight through design instead of the noise staying inside the muffler and bouncing around.

Patients paid off for me. I got the Ford performance extreme second hand for $500. It's made of 304 stainless steel, so it lasts forever. There is absolutly no anoying resonance drone at any RPM with this system. Just awsome muscle car music from those twice pipes.

@paw45 how loud is cold start and it is loud inside the cabin?
A rubber mallet is a must have tool for every garage.
Sounds great with the x-pipe nice and deep sound but not crazy loud!

The trottle is the volume control. When under WOT it gets appropriatly loud. But in the right way.

Hey boss quick question, no matter what axle back I go with on my gt, would it be louder paired with a normal x pipe or a corsa performance helixx DOUBLE x pipe?
Whatever axle back I get paired with the corsa helixx double x pipe, will the mufflers and resonators come off regardless when they put those two things on or do I have to ask separately for a muff and res delete beforehand?
Why don’t they make this in a 3” application?! I already have catted long tubes, x pipe and full 3” flowmaster fX…I literally want this axle back but they don’t make it in 3” applications 😔….And these sound better than the Borla s-types in my opinion.

Hey Jake, I have this same set up as you but with the Borla resonator, the x pipe sounds great in your video but it is raspy ? A lot of people say the x pipe make it raspy but doesn’t sound that raspy in your video?
Will you ever go boosted on your GT?
Got a price quote for a TT kit, 10k - want to do more research because that’s a lot haha
Why waste time and money on a new resonator instead of an x, h , helix etc....
