Shoutout to @ScottO84 for the suggestion, we're trying a different arrangement for the sound clips. Do you like this way of showing the differences or do you prefer the old way? Let us know!
Yes! Steeda is amongst the first to showcase exhaust changes this way. So much easier and more definitive to hear the differences in volume and tone between each stage. This same editing works wonders for showing stock, then catback/axleback, and finally the full setup with longtubes. Bravo! Additionally, the Mach 1 setup is a worthwhile change if people are looking to alter the sound while still retaining active functionality.
Adding active exhaust to a non-active car is possible but you would need to source the wiring as well as use a tool from a Ford Dealer to reprogram the car to enable it. Shops that work on Fords frequently may have that tool, called an IDS.
I’ve seen the 2020-23 HPP ecoboost has the same active exhaust system as the 2018-23 gt’s; does that mean this mach1 conversion will also work on an HPP ecoboost?
I don't really care for the Mach1 axle back but I wish they sold just the rear valance, mud flaps and diffuser. I want to do a Corsa instead. To me they soind way better. I also want to do the oil cooler to go with all this.
You can source those parts from a Ford Dealer. One thing to note is that the Mach 1 exhaust tips do sit lower than your standard GT so unless the Corsa kit is designed to fit something like a Mach 1 or Dark Horse, it won't work with this specific diffuser.
All modes but quiet mode are a bit louder than stock but you'll mostly notice the different note. Quiet mode was actually quieter than the stock GT mufflers.
I have a 2023 Mach 1, the factory look is awesome, even with a X-Pipe it's not loud enough. Are these the same mufflers on my stock 23 Mach 1? If so they sound good, but the volume isn't there. I traded in a 2019 GT that I installed a Borla Atak catback on. I miss the Borla BAD.
Yes, these are the same mufflers that were factory on the Mach 1. Borla does have an ATAK cat-back available that retains the active valve function that can be installed on the Mach 1 with a small adapter. www.steeda.com/borla-140837bc-gt500-atak-cat-back-exhaust
@steedaautosports Every site says the won't fit. As you know the tips coming out of the Mufflers in the Mach 1 curve down. The regular GT the come out stright from the muffler.

Mach 1 mufflers sound almost identical to stock active mufflers, the difference is just the nicer tips that they have.
This is an awesome way to show the difference!
YES!!! I wanted to just change my tips out but the whole kit with the valence and all sounds much more interesting!
Please do a video with the H pipe
i wish i could have that look but keep my GT sound. imo ford nailed it.
I have the Steeda H-pipe on my 2020 GT. I would really like to hear the difference with it also please.
That car needs an H pipe, not an X!
Good video, and was helpful although it’s not necessary to remove the bumper
Definitely not necessary but makes showing the process a whole lot easier!
What about a mustang gt that did not come with active exhaust after 2018? How is that wiring/feature adding process?

Everybody wants Mach 1 parts.
If this upgrade equipped with long tubes and no cats it well be absolutely disgustingly loud 😂
I want this
With a resonator delete, does adding this kit increase the volume over stock active exhaust axel back or just the note?
All modes but quiet mode are a bit louder than stock but you'll mostly notice the different note. Quiet mode was actually quieter than the stock GT mufflers.
Will this fit with the stock valance?
Unfortunately no, the Mach 1 tips are positioned lower than the factory GT tips which is why the Mach 1 valence is included with this kit.
:(
So does this add active exhaust if you dont have it?
No, this is intended for GTs that are already equipped with active exhaust from the factory
And the price is???
You can find this kit here -> www.steeda.com/ford-performance-m-5200-act1-mustang-gt-active-exhaust-upgrade-kit
