The Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway is a standard-gauge railway in Kenya that connects the large Indian Ocean city of Mombasa with Nairobi, the country's capital and largest city. This SGR runs parallel to the narrow-gauge Uganda Railway that was completed in 1901 under British colonial rule.

🤣🤣🤣 China did business through a punitive loan and Kenya/ns are paying for it through heavy taxation. Credit to the Kenyan taxpayer actually for this!! Do not bring your nonsense mutual benefit argument here. Kenya/ns have since learnt how to deal with the likes of China..no more loans ever since SGR. Anything Kenya now does with China is either a PPP or contracted services paid from other sources but never Chinese loans.

There are Bolts and Uber around and some other private Taxis out there so surely you can get one to and from town to the station. There mini buses as well
