Thanks Todd, useful information. I too use the Peak Design system. It is both efficient and good quality. The PF system works really well when you have more than 1 camera with you. Also, work the Leash, I got a connector that screws into the bottom of my camera and, on either side of the connector, you attach a PD anchor. The leash then attaches to the connector and this is used to carry heavier lenses.
Hi Todd, I worked out what the magnet in the strap is used for? I am currently travelling throughout Greece with my wife 😊. I packed two cameras and lenses. I use the PD Wrist Cuff, but only 1 strap, with anchors on both bodies. So, the magnet is used when, you take the strap off 1 camera and wrap it around your wrist. Now, you can rustle in your bag for the second camera or filters etc without the strap catching on anything. I hope this information allows the rest of mankind to sleep well tonight😂😂😂. I have the black rope style wrist strap. I also found that small dog collars where the leash attaches can be put on with a clip or split ring, and sometimes at a garage sale for around $1.00 V's $30.00. I bought the slide lite to try to raise my cameras from hitting the screen on my belt buckles. Not a good thing. I may try the P.D. Cuff that put your fingers thru for my heavy cameras for event photos.
Hey Mr. Bannor. Big Thanks for anwering my inquiry!! I mostly use a cheap elastic wrist strap, because its very comfortable. But when I don‘t carry a bag I will use a stretchy sling with those plastic attachments like the one you use for your G95.
I iuse a peakdesign cuff on my gx9 and a peakdesign"slide" seap on my g80 plus a thicki peakj design strap on my g9 . I came into this via having peak design camera plates on the bottom of all to make it faster To move cameras between tripodss all with so called arca compatible mounts and i have capture clips from peak design on the dhoulder straps on2 of my back packs
