Scott Hahn on Pints was one of the first people I heard from, he told me about John 6 and Revelation 12. Fast forward and now I’m going to be received into the Holy Catholic Church this Easter, praise be to God!! I can’t wait to receive the Eucharist, Mass has already healed me so much and I can only imagine the unity I will feel to Christ receiving His true body and blood. @@DavidElCid300 this is a strange question to ask, especially since salvation is not just a one-time event but a process that continues throughout our lives. We are saved by God’s grace, which is first received through Baptism (Mark 16:16), which initiates us into the life of the Church. From there, we are called to live according to God’s commandments, to grow in faith, and to actively participate in the Eucharist, the sacrament that strengthens us. James 2:26: "faith without works is dead." Salvation involves living a life of love, service, and repentance, regularly seeking God’s mercy through Confession when we fall short.
This podcast literally changed my life, I'm 17 I was praying today God please lead me in what direction you want me to go what church, what denomination, what to do with myself and with this episode it's like it was made for me it was insane so many things we so personal to me it just kind of became really clear that catholicism is where Jesus is leading me. Scott Hahn was a big part of my full conversion. A lot of his books have greatly helped. And I am so grateful I got to meet him briefly in Idaho and have one of my books signed by him.
Love Scott. He really set the stage for my conversion. I was anti Catholic for a long time. I just didn’t understand Catholicism and nobody could answer any of my questions intellectually. Scott was the first person I heard who was presenting REAL arguments. Through him I found so many others who do a great job and through the early church fathers I realized that not only was Catholicism ok, but that I MUST become Catholic if I’m going to be honest in my seeking of Christs truth.
Believe me when I say that I've been there. I was baptized Protestant, and went to school in my hometown is predominantly Catholic. The majority of my former high school classmates were Catholic. And it took several years for me to make the choice to convert from Protestant to Catholic. My mom and I started attending Mass when Covid first hit in 2020. In 2021, we enrolled in RCIA, and finally made our 1st Confession, and got Confirmed into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in April 2022.
When I was in Junior High and High School, I didn't understand the Catholic Faith. Thankfully, watching Lila Rose's Podcasts, as well as the Pints with Aquinas Podcasts, and Explaining the Faith talks on The Divine Mercy Channel on TH-cam, I'm learning more about the Faith than I ever have before. And it's helped me to share my Faith with ours.

Read the entire book if there is any reference to saying the rosary or if there is even such a thing during those times. I have been forced to be a Catholic since birth by parents who don’t go the church but saw the light when I started having a deeper knowledge about God and reading the bible 2 pages a day everyday! I was a sacristan all my high school life! Now I know better because Christianity encourages you to read the word not just listen to the speaker on the pulpit! Knowledge is after all power! I pray that God will open the eyes of your heart brethren! Catholicism is all about what your eyes see and your hands touch but Christianity is total surrender of faith w/o sight! Where he hold up the bread and wine saying, “this is my body, and this is my blood” and went on to say this is “the everlasting covenant”. How is it Jesus? Transubstantiation. Where it’s his Body, blood, soul, and divinity in the form of bread and wine. We have to remember it’s his “Actual” Body and blood not his “Literal” body and blood we don’t think we’re eating Jesus finger or anything weird. We just believe it’s the True and fullest presence of our Lord on earth. At the same time I can’t prove this but I can tell the difference in how I feel and how I act after taking the Eucharist. I do feel and act more holy, that’s how I came to understanding. When I’m not taking the Eucharist I’m more angry, more likely to act on violence, more lustful, and depressed. But every time I get to take the Eucharist it’s like all those feelings don’t necessarily go away but I’m able to control them more. I don’t think explaining it is gonna make someone understand, it’s something you have to experience and focus on the results and changes to your life.

I'm 78. I still have one of the 1st cassette tapes of SH's first conversion testimony. It spread like wildfire in my Catholic circle & set many ofnus on fire for the first time. The fire is more mature, but it's still burning! TY Scott Hahn & Kimberly!!!!!!
Hahn's prior 'anti-Catholic' path became my husband's path and turned him from a Methodist who later became agnostic into a fervent Catholic. I am a cradle Catholic and my husband has taught me so much. I am so blessed to be in a close relationship with someone I can share my faith with and grow.
I attended a talk with Scott Hahn while I was on my journey to Catholicism. His explanation of the Eucharist being a never ending sacrifice really stuck with me. I remember jotting it down on paper afterwards.
Come back home doors are always open. I was away for over 30 years came back after studying the faith. The thing that brought me was eucharistic miracles. Either you believe in the eucharistic miracles or you don't. Just like Jesus said eat my flesh drink my blood. Many left when he said that. Eucharistic miracles is the same either you believe or don't. Come back home Jesus is always waiting for you on the most blessed eucharist

I was born and raised Catholic, but after confirmation I've abandoned the Church. Like the prodigal Son i came back 10 years later. When I fully acknowledged that the Eucharist is the real presence of the Word who became flesh, my Redeemer, Lord, and brother, I started to attend morning Holy Mass daily 😅 just one day this thought hit me: If i can find the time for the stuff I like and love, how I could honestly say that I love Jesus and not devote time to Him?

(1:02:16 - 1:03:00) I love how he calls these “convergences”. I always thought of them as “parallels”. God orchestrated everything so perfectly. It’s like multiple realities happening at the same time expressed differently in their own unique way. Like Moses going up a mountain and seeing the burning bush and smoke, and when Elijah goes up a mountain too and sees the fire and cloud of witnesses. Then Jesus with Peter, James, and John at the top of a mountain during the transfiguration with Elijah and Moses behind him. The apostles were clearly the smoke or cloud of witnesses. Crazy. “Convergence” is the new thing for me.

It is the ONLY Church Jesus founded before He ascended into heaven. It was the ONLY Christian Church until Luther started the splintering that resulted in 35k Protestant churches today. I like Scott try to focus and appreciate what we have inb common. The commonalities all started in the Catholic Church but there's ONLY various bits and pieces in all of the other churches depending on whoever decided to start another one wants to include. I have had Many beautiful Protestant Christian friends. Some who definitely live more Faithfully than some professed Catholics. I won't take back that Catholism is where the Fullness of Faith is at. Love Scott. He really set the stage for my conversion. I was anti Catholic for a long time. I just didn’t understand Catholicism and nobody could answer any of my questions intellectually. Scott was the first person I heard who was presenting REAL arguments. Through him I found so many others who do a great job and through the early church fathers I realized that not only was Catholicism ok, but that I MUST become Catholic if I’m going to be honest in my seeking of Christs truth.
Believe me when I say that I've been there. I was baptized Protestant, and went to school in my hometown is predominantly Catholic. The majority of my former high school classmates were Catholic. And it took several years for me to make the choice to convert from Protestant to Catholic. My mom and I started attending Mass when Covid first hit in 2020. In 2021, we enrolled in RCIA, and finally made our 1st Confession, and got Confirmed into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in April 2022.
When I was in Junior High and High School, I didn't understand the Catholic Faith. Thankfully, watching Lila Rose's Podcasts, as well as the Pints with Aquinas Podcasts, and Explaining the Faith talks on The Divine Mercy Channel on TH-cam, I'm learning more about the Faith than I ever have before. And it's helped me to share my Faith with ours.

Read the entire book if there is any reference to saying the rosary or if there is even such a thing during those times. I have been forced to be a Catholic since birth by parents who don’t go the church but saw the light when I started having a deeper knowledge about God and reading the bible 2 pages a day everyday! I was a sacristan all my high school life! Now I know better because Christianity encourages you to read the word not just listen to the speaker on the pulpit! Knowledge is after all power! I pray that God will open the eyes of your heart brethren! Catholicism is all about what your eyes see and your hands touch but Christianity is total surrender of faith w/o sight! That for me is a much greater challenge and worth my salvation! I hope there is still time for you to know the difference! Shalom! ❤

How is it Jesus?
Transubstantiation. Where it’s his Body, blood, soul, and divinity in the form of bread and wine.
We have to remember it’s his “Actual” Body and blood not his “Literal” body and blood we don’t think we’re eating Jesus finger or anything weird. We just believe it’s the True and fullest presence of our Lord on earth.
At the same time I can’t prove this but I can tell the difference in how I feel and how I act after taking the Eucharist. I do feel and act more holy, that’s how I came to understanding. When I’m not taking the Eucharist I’m more angry, more likely to act on violence, more lustful, and depressed. But every time I get to take the Eucharist it’s like all those feelings don’t necessarily go away but I’m able to control them more. I don’t think explaining it is gonna make someone understand, it’s something you have to experience and focus on the results and changes to your life.

Hahn's prior 'anti-Catholic' path became my husband's path and turned him from a Methodist who later became agnostic into a fervent Catholic. I am a cradle Catholic and my husband has taught me so much. I am so blessed to be in a close relationship with someone I can share my faith with and grow.
I attended a talk with Scott Hahn while I was on my journey to Catholicism. His explanation of the Eucharist being a never ending sacrifice really stuck with me. I remember jotting it down on paper afterwards.

I was born and raised Catholic, but after confirmation I've abandoned the Church. Like the prodigal Son i came back 10 years later. When I fully acknowledged that the Eucharist is the real presence of the Word who became flesh, my Redeemer, Lord, and brother, I started to attend morning Holy Mass daily 😅 just one day this thought hit me:

Prayed to our Lord Jesus to help you Lila, Dr. Scott Hahn, and for all of us to grow in Faith, Hope, and Charity through the intercession of Saint Paul (patron saint of gentle Christians, evangelists, theologians, missionaries, writers, journalists, authors, public workers, rope and saddle makers, and tent makers).
The three theological virtues=
1. Faith= we believe in God and believe all that He has revealed to us and that Holy Church proposes for our belief.

(1:02:16 - 1:03:00) I love how he calls these “convergences”. I always thought of them as “parallels”. God orchestrated everything so perfectly. It’s like multiple realities happening at the same time expressed differently in their own unique way. Like Moses going up a mountain and seeing the burning bush and smoke, and when Elijah goes up a mountain too and sees the fire and cloud of witnesses. Then Jesus with Peter, James, and John at the top of a mountain during the transfiguration with Elijah and Moses behind him. The apostles were clearly the smoke or cloud of witnesses. Crazy. “Convergence” is the new thing for me.

@@joelbuzbee1750 if you read my comment again without jumping to defensiveness, you can see that I did not say the Catholic Church IS THE ONLY way to God, Jesus, and His Spirit. It is the ONLY Church Jesus founded before He ascended into heaven. It was the ONLY Christian Church until Luther started the splintering that resulted in 35k Protestant churches today.
I like Scott try to focus and appreciate what we have inb common. The commonalities all started in the Catholic Church but there's ONLY various bits and pieces in all of the other churches depending on whoever decided to start another one wants to include.
I have had Many beautiful Protestant Christian friends. Some who definitely live more Faithfully than some professed Catholics.
I won't take back that Catholism is where the Fullness of Faith is at.
