Maybe i don't know where to look, but it seems like there is precious little content being created about this Jubilee Year. This was a fantastic interview. Thank you Keith and Dr Bergsma!
Had heard of the power to bind and loose being related to holy days of obligation (binding) but never to the the authority behind jubilee year (loosing). Really hit home. ❤
I was blessed to have him for a class and the number of times he used a Star Wars analogy to explain something from the Bible is truly an inspiration for trying to teach the faith
Thank you so much Keith and Dr Bergsma! Just agreed with my husband we will increase our confession during lent and increase our in person weekly mass attendance! God bless you both and Happy Jubilee! 🙏🙏
The Jubilee years have already been fulfilled by the house of Israel. They did not count the jubilee years during the 70 weeks of Daniel, due to the fact they were not one in the land (stick of Joseph was spread out). However, when the 2 sticks became one, it is possible towards their final days, they did have a jubilee year before 1 Thessalonians 4:16 was fulfilled.
@@TheCordialCatholic 😂 What does he have for the dates of these 10 prophecies? 1.` Revelation 12:14 2. Daniel 12:7 3. Daniel 12:11-13 4. Revelation 11:2 5. Revelation 11:3 6. Revelation 11:9-11 7. Revelation 12:6 8. Revelation 13:5 9. Daniel 7:25 10. Ezekiel 37:19 ( Wondering, if your bible scholar has these solved?) Btw, in Leviticus 25:8-11, they had to be in the same land in order there to be a jubilee year. Matthew 23:36, 38 was fulfilled within the time frame Jesus gave. So your bible scholar is missing some important information here. All the inhabitants (house of Israel) were to be in the same land. This is why your bible scholar is way, way off.
Most of these verses prophesy the Roman conquest of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Though mass numbers of Jews perished in the calamity, the Christians of Jerusalem fled to safety in the Transjordan town of Pella. Taken symbolically, this could refer to the persecution of saints, whose destiny is the holy city above. Jerusalem and its sanctuary were twice before trampled down by the Gentiles, once by the Babylonians (Is 63:18) and then by the Syrians (1 MAC 3:45).
@@christinacastillon6439 Eusebius is the one who made that up, them fleeing to Pella. There are numerous problems with this and the more one studies history and think through the logistics, the more one sees this is the 3 stooges' level of stupidity to believe this. There is no way the Jews who fled, were that stupid, and makes no sense. They in all likelihood, fled to Petra, which has the history of flooding (Pella does not), and you see the earth split south west of Petra, whereas Pella does not.
