Had the pleasure of taking the M3/M4 Comp out on a COTA during a BMW driver's event and as a track newbie (especially at COTA) it was terrifying because of the speeds we were hitting. The car made it effortless though and really allows people of varying levels of driving experience to be able to push those fast speeds. I own an M2 Comp and I absolutely love that car for the driver engagement feel and you definitely don't have any of that feel in the M3/M4 Comp. With a CDV removal and an SSK - it's a joy to row my own gears. The only difference between the Comp and base is literally the amount of boost the car pushes - which can easily be remedied with a piggyback tune. A 6 speed M3 can be just as bonkers fast as the Comp with an easy piggyback but with the added fun of the 3rd pedal - it's the best.

These cars depreciate so fast because of their maintenance costs and they're planned obsolescent parts under the hood that melt, especially the ones That are made in the u. Yes.
Usually a few years after Zee Germans screw up the styling on one of their sedans, I eventually make my peace with it, especially after seeing a few in person. But not the "angry atomic beaver" M3/M4. This thing is hideous. It will always be hideous. It will never not be hideous. Which is a crying shame, because everything about the car is perfectly styled and proportioned from the front wheel arches back. I can't imagine dropping almost a hundred G's on something this ugly.
Have personally heard many people say that it looks better in person, but I have to agree with you that it really doesn't. There's a new 2 series parked somewhere I pass frequently and the same story applies to that car as well. Really distasteful cars.
A friend of mine tried to defend its looks by saying it was tolerable in a dark color, with a blacked out grill. My reaction was, “so it looks ok if you can’t tell what it looks like.”

Looks like an absolute blast. Thing is definitely a beasttttt
Never seen you guys have so much fun on the track.
This is a formula for a perfect car: great driving dynamics, great infotainment and great practicality.
And so expensive that 99% of people interested in it will never get to drive it.
It needs great looks though. That is such an ugly car.
A perfect car also includes horrible reliability
Your such a groomer. Infotainment? Gtfo
Really enjoyed this piece!
That color combo is unforgivable.
You couldn’t make up that combination if you dropped acid !!!
As unforgivable as the escalating upsurge of Nazis-vs-Russians.
...
Or did you nazi it? 😉
Fantastic review! Epic car!
These cars depreciate so fast because of their maintenance costs and they're planned obsolescent parts under the hood that melt, especially the ones That are made in the u. Yes.
This car needs a manual…which is what has me leaning toward the CT4-V Blackwing…for significantly less costs.
'Angry, atomic beaver.' -- love it! Best laugh I've had in a week. Thank you.
Just get a 2023 M2 with the same motor
A friend of mine tried to defend its looks by saying it was tolerable in a dark color, with a blacked out grill. My reaction was, “so it looks ok if you can’t tell what it looks like.”
the rear section could ideally been styled like the 20+ old german sedans. now a days they slump down like an upside down banana
Most practical sport sedan, drive your family everyday and drive in your fav track.
Needed some more POV footage - it was addictive!
Great to see the Seiran Blue Z behind Jack in the Shoppe at the end!
Never thought I'd think this about one of those heavy ass lame turboed yachts, but: I want one. Despite it shouldn't, this clearly drives very very well.
I never seen you guys have so much fun \, and look so scared in a car. Great video.
the videos have been excellent lately
Jack, either you’re super excited about this review OR you’re trying to start up a vlogger personality. I’m not sure which.
It seems like you guys really liked this car. The track segment was hilarious. It’s been a while since we have seen you this happy about something.
Who wouldn't be happy when given a fast $100k car to play with on a racetrack?
Always loved the M3
that's nice letting Mark stand on a bucket for the under carriage segment
Wow, a BMW that the Goose actually likes and seems to be having fun in! 😳
