"DON'T FORGET THIS" for your Chevrolet Trailblazer Fuel Filter-2003

In this video, I replaced the fuel filter on my 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer 4.2L. Should be similar for GMC Envoy. Often times this filter is over looked.

Eye Protection
Jack
Jack stand
Container To Catch Residual Fuel
Needle Nose Pliers
Wix 33129 Fuel Filter

Except you put the fuel lines on backwards. You swapped the in with the out. Watch the video. Your line with the pressure relief on it, is from the tank to the filter inlet, and should be the outside line closest to the side of the filter. You connected it to the center of the filter. Again look at the connections at the beginning of the video on the first filter, and then where you have them now. They are opposite from where they are to begin with. Inlet, from the tank is the line closest to the side of the filter, outlet to the engine is in the center of the filter. Nice video though.

Nope, on the 2003 Trailblazer LS 4.2L, the pressure relief line is goes to the engine. Also on the WIX fuel filter the OUTLET of the filter is the center. What is was, who ever installed the last filter installed the old filter backwards. Thanks for watching.
