I use the Nanofil for more stationary fishing when it's not that easy to walk around. This summer I got a lot of comment on "that's a long throwing rod" when in fact it was a combination of Nanofil and a very good lure (Falkfish Spöket, 18g Black/hot red -killer for Char and Rainbow trout). I do find the regular Fireline to be better all around but nothing beats the Nanofil in distance. I always have two spools with one of each.
This stuff is awesome I bought 12 lb test crystal nanofil line and this stuff works great. Pulled in a 20lb with it no problem. Knots are slippery if improperly tied but I have yyet one to slip or break on me. Great line
Mate thanks for the video enjoyed it. For the type of fishing I do I have to use a leader generally Fluoro. I use a double uni knot with extra wraps with nanofil. Interested to hear what you suggest . The double Uni seems to work ok unless you have a better suggestion Thanks
Keith did not cast far. He's working tight to the boat. Basically casting 20 feet and letting it sink down. Its just a quick wrist flip using the rod tip and bait weight as energy to pull the line out.
Hey Rangerbull, you can pick some up at the Bass Pro Shops in Clarksville (but that's a heck of a drive) or likey, at your local bait shop! Not all WalMarts will carry this particluar line. You can also order online at www.basspro.com/shop/en/berkley-fireline-fused-fishing-line-125-yards Good luck and happy fishin!
If the knot slips then you are probably not tying a proper knot. I fish 6lb all the time (150 days on the water a year) and have yet to have a break with a proper knot tied (such as the nano knot).

Tried it today thanks Very small profile and easy to tie . Do you think it is stronger ?
Look at that cast @0:50 still trying to figure out how that worked
