The Celestus is a gaint astrolabe. That makes complete sense considering the importance of celestial objects in Innistrad, particularly their placement and relation with each other, they even have a fledgling order of astral mages who through most of fiction and a great deal of history is usually involved in predictions, divinations, foresight, and understanding the universe through the placement of the sun, the moon, and the stars. The coven's source of strength being hope makes them very much the good guys in my book, or very unlikely to be malicious, and it certainly makes complete sense for the Celestus to be powered by hope. For there are three forces and gifts that stand above all others, when all the forces and gifts have long since faded, all that remains are faith, hope, and love. Innistrad is only missing love. What's more is that hope is the spearhead that paves the way to tomorrow which is what they need and why it is so fitting that it powers the Celestus which corrects the balance and ensures that there is a tomorrow. Faith and hope comes together once more as they always have, all that is left is love. The reason why Avacyn and everything centered on her fell was because her and the faith on her was false, forged, forced, and unnatural which made it corruptible. Thus was the folly of the vampire prince.
Oh my gosh, the editing is fantastic for this video. Glad to see someone finally address some of the legendary cards that don't get mention in the normal story in most sets. Love the video.

Yknow it would be cool if we could get a Davriel Cane cameo at some point in the future, feels like he was introduced and not much was done with him lolol
I think it was in Saint Traft's story that Wizards released that it was the demon Withengar that killed Saint Traft in life. And in the official Innistrad lore book "The Art of Magic the Gathering: Innistrad" Its said that Orhmdahl was an escaped demon from the opening of the Helvault who hid in caverns beneath the cathedral where he took over the Skirsdag after Griselbrand was killed.
Great vid but if I had to guess why it has so few views I would say these are the causes: hype over MID has started dying down and most people have a decent idea of the lore, the video so super long so someone might find it hard to commit all that time. I would suggest in the future making these videos 20-30 mins each as it would allow you to get a decent amount of material and you could leave it halfway continuing in the next episode. Thanks for reading I hope this can help. I by no means have an educated opinion on this matter this is just from my perspective.
