I'm a Toyota guy and I agree with you. They are not comparing apples to apples. The F150 with 3.5 twin turbo has superior specs compared to the Toyota 3.4 twin turbo.
@@thndr_5468Exactly, I used to exclusively own Toyotas. Reliability is literally their only selling point. Ford drives smoother, rides better, way quieter. If the Tundra is blowing up, then might as well just buy any other truck since it literally has no other advantages
I have owned 3 Tacomas and 1 Tundra. I just traded my 23k mile, 2022 1794 Tundra for a 2024 F-150 I couldn’t handle the issues anymore. Toyota took a 20 year customer and sent me to a competitor. F-150 build quality is superior in almost every way.
I sold my Gen2 Tundra to buy a 24 Tundra limited TRD. I sold it one day before the engine recall came out. I'm waiting for Toyota to release the fix, if it's a short block I'm buying a F150, if it's a long block I'll buy a Tundra.
@@toyotausawhy isn't the price of your trucks cheaper? Your non- union, so labor is alot lower. That alone should significantly effect the price. Plus the Tacoma now being made in Mexico, those should be way cheaper than all competitors.

Hated my 2023 1795 TRD Offroad versus my 2021 F150 hybrid. The remote start sucks on the Tundra. The 360 cameras are also not as good. And the hump in the back floorboard sucks. The entertainment system was also a step backwards.

Toyota designs their trucks, so the bodies don't rust so it's good advertisement for them, but they make them so the frames and everything else underneath rots out like wildfire in all the states that use salt, so you come and buy another one sooner. Junk! And now the Turbos and big batteries, more junk to maintain to do the exact same thing you need it for, go to the grocery store and work.
Tundra - V6 only F-150 - V6 and V8 offered Lol this isnt even close Ill take a v8 truck over a V6 any day of the week FOH toyota with little witty twin turno V6 garbage.
Toyota please work with viking Yatch club in developing a power plant that has an oxygen combustion burner burning carbon based garbage and use the heat energy to run a generator and have a specialized exuast system capture carbon fumes in sea water and then add an additive of grude oil and alcohol to convert the carbon fumes and sea water into a fuel. The oxygen combustion burner must be a compund metal like faruim or better to safely handle the heat along with the exhaust.
I traded in my house for a used 2022 Tundra platinum. Best move I ever made.
are you guys comparing a top trim Tundra vs base model f150? Lol, everyone knows f150 tows and has more payload than tundra

No where did either talk about the issues with fords R80 10spd trans that are messing up or the engine issue on the Tundra we want updates

Have you guys heard that the Tundra auto-camera or parking camera features have stopped working for many 2023, 2024 owners??

Why didn’t you compare the Tundra to the 3.7 F-150? That would seem like a more similar comparison.
