No they're not, it's just above the base model tundra, higher grades have silver grille surrounds. Same with silverado, it's not the base model which has completely black plastic grille
Well know we know why we haven't seen the TRD Performance package tune for the Tundra. Toyota knew the issues with the engine were coming. Toyota has turned into such a great company, just like one of the big 3!!
I’d rather have a base model Toyota than a fully loaded Silverado with their French transmission but I trust my 05 Silverado more than any new truck & I have a new Tundra
@EAK1437 Yes, but that's just the engine. In areas where the Chevy was better the presenter skimmed over details and tried to make it sound like the Toyota ordered the better feature for no additional cost. They also weren't fully honest about how the hybrid works. Line up a TRD Pro hybrid against a Trail Boss LT or ZR2 with the 6.2 engine and see who gets to the finish line first. The Chevy's 6.2 delivers 90% of its torque at 1,500 rpms and it stays there throughout the powerband. The 10-speed trans keeps the engine in the sweet spot. Last I checked, 1/4 times were close even though the Tundra has over 100 ft-lbs and 60-ish hp.
Toyota is ruining their reputation for quality. Forcing a v4 twin turbo that has an issue with blown engines. How does quality drop so low that engines are not cleared of metal shavings when they leave the plant? Even the Tundra upgrade to v6 is laughable. I could go through other models with similar complaints. Toyota has, in one failed swoop, lost the qualty of a 300 plus thousand mile vehicle to engines with a few thousand miles blowing up.
Toyota's the only company that said. Hey, let's see if we can destroy everything good about our trucks in one year. Toyota now known as the worst trucks company ever made.
How is it 2024 and ppl don’t understand how turbines work? The 4 cyl won’t work harder to get the same V6 power output folks! The rpm is more or less the same, and it doesn’t mean less reliability just because you’re scared of change! Turbines have been powering our grids and planes for better part of the last century. The first gas turbine car was introduced by Chrysler in 1954!
The Toyota Tundra is a 3 power system nightmare. 1.A V6 engine, 2 turbos, and a Hybrid system. Not a long term vehicle. Toyota, u should have modified the V8 engine and prayed Trump got in 😂
Toyota shows the top model vs a base Chevy. Please 70k for a tundra is laughable.
The 6.2L v8 is the highest trim of Silverado

Add a Scion XA over
“Silverado Doesn’t have any answer to tundras force max hybrid electric powertrain” yeah they do it’s called a V8.
Muito bonito
I am hearing so many bad stories about the new Tundras.
It is hurting Toyota’s reputation.
Maybe compare a fully loaded Silverado to a fully loaded tundra?
Parabéns pela evolução

Marca de sucesso e confiança
Toyota é sempre boa marca, não se arrepende , isto é uma certeza.

A melhor de todas

My brother has a Chevy 3500 4x4 High Country with everything on it for towing horses, but I like the Tundra better.
Not a true comparison showing lower trim options on the Chevy.
The 6.2l V8 is the highest option for the Silverado

Imma go for The Toyota Tundra 🗿
2024 is quickly nearing the halfway point and I could care less about the 24’s. I really want to know if the 25’s will have front tow hooks???🎉
Tundra all day everyday
Muito bom ❤
I love Toyota
É forte e bom veículo.
Toyota financial screwed up my credit by THIER ERROR and they refuse to reverse it. Pay cash or finance elsewhere.
You have to be crazy to buy any Chevy. They break down 5 minutes after buying lmao.

GM is also 51% owned by a Chinese company now (SAIC).
Only its Chinese subsidiary, not its North American and other divisions. Do your homework before speaking.
Just release the 4Runner video already
If only they'd put the V8 naturally asperated engine back in the Tundra.....

I'd go for that Tundra all day 💪💪 No way in hell I'd want that Silverado 💀
Toyota gone downhill.
Top🎉
Looks tough
I wouldn’t touch a Toyota truck for the next year or so…too many quality control issues.
🎉🎉🎉

Boa
I need more payload capacity.
Awesome trucks

❤❤❤
Tundra (like most modern trucks) looks ugly as hell. Hood visibility looks to be terrible again.
Capstone vs Silverado Work Truck lol
Chevy v8 is beast but I still go for Toyota truck for long runs 😂
Dude, the new Tundra’s are rolling piles of junk. The engines are self destructing. Toyota is not serious about building trucks man
