    People are selling “aqua punching bags” that are really just boat buoys, it is the same thing, literally, just marketed differently.
    The A-0 is perfect headhunter bag, 8.5” x 11” and can used for head movement like a maize bag. But heavy enough to take some power shots. I live in an apartment complex and live on the second floor and I screwed a long eye screw into the ceiling beam inside my roof. It hangs there all day and I use it to move around and loosen up.
    The bigger buoys A-3 & A-4 are great punching bags and under $80 brand new on Amazon. But they are extremely heavy once they are filled with water.

    • @Kewlus
      @Kewlus  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I made a nozzle using a glue gun nozzle. You can also use a silicon gun nozzle. You can just tape it to a water hose. Make sure to turn the water on just a little or the pressure will pop the nozzle off. It will take time to fill, but just needs patience 👍

    Really nice video!
    I found a fairly easy way to raise and lower my heavy bags which may work for you. First, I attach two heavy duty, offsetting, ratcheting tie down straps to the bracket on my ceiling and to the top end of my bag.
    Then I alternate tightening or loosening each strap individually depending on whether I’m raising or lowering the bag.
    The last step is to fasten the bag to the ceiling hanger if raising the bag and the straps can be loosened and removed. Or if lowering, once the bag reaches the ground you can detach it obviously!
    Hope this helps someone.

    • @katiebea9258
      @katiebea9258 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@maybebabyny I almost cracked a rib at the ingenuity of your "kid's hopper" idea. I presume the hopper valve couldn't "hold up" under the pressure of the water, so you went "outside the box" to think of the basegel as "filler". How HARD is the basegel-filled Hopper and how the heck did you guess "water to" ratio? I have never used basegel (nor heard of it until your reply) so imagine you put in the gel via a straw or some such and then added water? Does basegel act like "foam door jamb insulation" (sorta?) where it expands to meet its' "offered volume"? I am down to polyforms G6 (11 x 30) and LD-3 (12+ x 29) as remaining contenders. Would YOU consider the "basegel-filled" idea inside an LD-3? Is the basegel HEAVIER than water-filled?

    • @maybebabyny
      @maybebabyny ปีที่แล้ว

      @@katiebea9258 Glad you enjoyed my experiment!
      The BaseGel is a very nice edition for the Hopper as my thinking was that it would lesson the impact a bit to protect the thinner rubber on the Hopper. I actually prefer the Taylor Made Low Drag Buoy at 13x24 over the LD-3. While lighter it moves well and forces we to use my feet more effectively. I don't believe BaseGel adds weight but definitely changes the feel of the punch surface.

      You definitely want to fill it up till its full. I have one that is a bit bigger than this, but mine is more of an oval than a tear drop shape. I was having trouble getting it completely full, i had it maybe 90 -95% and figured that would be OK. It was full enough that water was coming out the valve when it was sitting on the ground, but when you hang it up there were a couple of slight folds or dents around the black top. Not perfectly round from a full inflation is what i am trying to say. What ended up happening over the course of a year of so was that those dents ended up splitting and leaking. I think if i had it maxed out with water, those splits wouldnt have happened. Ive patched it up as best i can, used a bike puncture kit, cut off a piece of tubing from a push bike tyre and glued that over a larger section, then wrapped it with gaff tape. But i still need to inflate it fully otherwise the same thing will happen again.
