    Maaannnn this is great! I kept breaking my everlast and hyper flex reflex bag and got upset spending so much money on replacing them so I tried this out with a little different modifications and boom it’s working like a champ even faster then the expensive ones I already bought for way cheaper 🙏🏼 thank you

    Thank you for posting! This is great. I’ve been trying to work out a version of this with a bit less give so that I can kick it. I was thinking to use a thicker pipe and wrap with foam. Would a 3in (75mm) PVC pipe work or would it take away all of the give/spring? Since the base will need to be really heavy would a tire/concrete base would work? Thinking to attach a threaded adapter to the pipe and set other threaded price in the concrete (about 6in deep) so I can screw and unscrew base. Do you think PVC can withstand a kick without cracking at the point where it’s connected to the bass?

    • @Kewlus
      @Kewlus  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’re most welcome. The size I use in this video took quite a lot of testing and seems to be the ideal size for a heavy ball like a basketball. Any thicker results in too much speed- not practical. You could possibly combine a thicker pipe with a thinner one like I did in my vey first design: th-cam.com/video/UnKfsPsTAz4/w-d-xo.html

    • @diyshawty8511
      @diyshawty8511 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Okay. Thanks! I guess I was hoping a bigger pipe would move and bend a lot less. Is there anyway to get it to move less - be slower and more stable? I’m more interested in power than speed. Thanks again!

    • @Kewlus
      @Kewlus  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, I’m going to be making a body for this bag next for body blows. Not sure about kicks but will test.

    Great video thanks you.
    # I have some questions;
    1. The piece you added with funnel which attaches to the pole, is it possible to go over this bit more slowly or show the sequence of which pieces need to be added.
    2. Is it possible to provide links to size of funnel and black attachment bit you used for pole. Giving online links, Amazon etc.. will allow us to see exactly what you used.
    Thanks you, videos are great. Keep it up and lookforard to rest of your videos.

    Hey dude!! I really enjoy your videos, definetly great ideas 👌🏻 this heavy one is probably my favourite, i might try it. But there is one thing that concerns me. Does the ball hold on just with the rubber thingy, tape and the funnel?
    Thanks for for sharing your ideas!!! 🙌🏻👌🏻👏🏼

    • @Kewlus
      @Kewlus  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it does. To ensure the tape grips the ball well make sure to sand the ball like I did in the video

    • @pepec52
      @pepec52 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers man. Ya I noticed that you sanded it. I might give it a try then. By the way, guess you know it already but just in case. Small tip, if you fill the bottles with sand + water you will get more weight per bottle 😉

  • @jackshin9622

    this honestly looks like it works better than all the $400 reflex bags ive found... I’m almost done with my build, but I cant seem to find any 40mm pan cones in my area :( what would you recommend as a replacement?

    • @Kewlus
      @Kewlus  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can also use a plunger, but cut away the rubber skirt so it sits flush on the ball. Alternatively any rubber pipe gasket that fits onto the PVC pipe should also work. Good luck 🤙

  • @huntingwolf20
    @huntingwolf20 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Would that work, putting the rod inside an umbrella base, then the PVC attached like you did? I really want to try this. Your DYI videos are AWESOME!

    • @Kewlus
      @Kewlus  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you brother!!! Yeah should work. Next I’ll be testing different mast materials like fibreglass fishing rods to see what works best. Stay tuned bro!!!

      @@Kewlus I got one of your builds finished, somewhat. I tried the pool noodles on the thicker PVC but it's not got the awesome action that yours does with the basetball. I think I will take off the pool noodles as they are almost too light on their own and add the basketball. Awesome work mate, I appreciate your help. I've had reflex bags for a long time but they are super slow compared to a double end bag, etc.. Your builds are super close, and about $270 cheaper than a Cobra reflex bag. You've saved me a lot of money. Great stuff Reedy. I've shared some of your stuff with some pro boxers here in the states. THey said that is pretty damn cool! lol

    • @Kewlus

      The steel pipe that screws into the flange - changing the length of that pipe changes the speed.

    Thanks what is the type if tape you used to hold the ball. Seems like tape wouldnt hold that ball for long

      @@Kewlus cool thanks I want to make this bag I just cant find a pan cone anywhere I cold a plumbing place and they never heard of one and a funnel with a wide enough valve most just go from skinny to wide at base. I could easily make the cobra bag but I think I will prefer this cause it will be a much more intense workout on the muscles. Your videos are awesome

    • @Kewlus
      @Kewlus  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. Instead of a pan cone you could use a plunger and cut off most of the cone just leaving about a 1/2 inch round the base so that it sits flush on the ball
