Thank you so much kind friend. Yup, getting rid of that fender was key. Next up for me is to replace the exhausts to get a slightly louder sound (more for safety than anything) as the sound of a stock Guzzi is a bit light.
This tail is the easiest kit I’ve ever installed. It’s literally plug-n-play. I enjoyed the video. You can cut down your install time (and frustration) if you get yourself some metric open ended wrenches and ratchet tool kit. Watching you use a Vise Grip and pliers was painful… 😉
Amazing. Good guys there for sure. They are slow to follow-up on upgrades but if you nag them enough, they are great and well the only place I trust with my Guzzi.
Thank you for your kind words. So all I did was literally just drill a hole on the Ontario plate, where it should be for the second screw. You can even just use a nail and hammer a hole into the licence plate. Took a few minutes and worked like a charm. Hope this helps and happy/safe riding!
Hello friend. Definitely the stock fender is better for avoiding dirt, but this eliminator is not too bad. Mind you, I don't really ride much on too many dirt roads so on pavement it's like a total non-issue. I hope that helps and ride safe friend.
Hi, great video, thanks. The question was asked before..but not answered: how about riding in the rain, is the whole back part of the bike now no longer protected from water (what does it do the parts that are otherwise protected by the fender, like electronics)? And don't you get spray while riding? Thx!
That was a terrific video! It encourages me to finally do the same to my V7 racer. Just one question though, does the K-Town kit have LEDs to illuminate the license plate at night? Thanks for teaching all of us how to do this!
Hello friend and thanks for your kind words. At night the plate is really well illuminated. In fact, I have another separate video that shows what it looks like at night.
VJ Bala: Hello again - out of curiosity why didn't you use the screws and nuts from the original (Moto Guzzi) fender to attach the K-Town fender to the frame of your Moto Guzzi, even though the K-Town fender came with a set of screws and nuts? I would appreciate your inside.
Great video thanks for sharing. How has the daytime riding been? Have the cars been able to see you braking / indicating turn ok? Looks great. Just worried re visibility!!
VJ Bala that same kit 👍🏽 Actually trying to see how I could push the LED bar back a bit. I find that cars can find it hard to see if they are too close & tall
Hey friend:) Nice work. I downloaded a V7III tech manual from the interweb. It's like a Haynes manual, if you're familiar:). Shows how to decontruct and remove everything from the bike!
It does not have a light specifically to slight up the licence plate, but the LED strip illuminates it. Personally I don't find the need the light up the plate but you may want to add a light.
@@VJBala Thank you for your reply! I have one last question, I don't know if you have ridden it at night, but if you've had how good is the K-Town LED strip at night? I would really appreciate your response. Thank kindly.
@@VJBala NIce and helpful video, mate! In Italy you need a light on your licence plate... I keep precrastinating this customization but when I'll do, I'll want to find a solution to light the plate up. What exhaust are you planning to put on your bike? :) There are alot but actually I am pretty sure about the mistral ones.
@@gabrielemagnani1887 Thank you for your note friend. Does this LED light not work well? It does a good job to light up the plate :) Enjoy and ride safe!
@@VJBala One other question, do you still have room under the seat. My 2016 V7II Racer has a small 'area' under the seat for a few small tools, etc? Does the new eliminator sit close to the frame stopping crap from flying off wheels and onto under seat? Appreciate your comments or view on this item in general. Thank you.
Hi there friend. I got my V7 from Corsa Meccanica. They are good to deal with but pretty bad at getting back to you for anything after-market or any modifications. But, to get the bike, they are great. The V7 III is so so reliable. I've had it now for two summers and albeit it is still new, but I've had no problems. The ONLY thing I would say (and that too I'm really being picky) is that sometimes it is hard to find the neutral gear when you're say at a red light or something but there is a way you can fix that (just needs to be done once every few months it seems). But otherwise, this is a great great greeeat bike! Ride safe friend!
@@VJBala Thanks for the information, I've heard the V7 III's are fairly reliable so your confirmation is nice to hear. Also is the issue with finding N have to do with adjusting the clutch cable? In terms of dealers, I'm deciding between Two Wheel Motorsport in Guelph and Corsa. Most likely going to get the Guzzi next riding season.
That might be a silly question, but what did you use to attach the license plate to it? Did you experience any issues on the road, especially when you hit the bumps etc.? Looks super sleek! Eyeing the same kit for my V7 III Stone ;)
No such thing as a silly question my friend ... especially if it's regarding your bike :) The kit comes with a spot to attach your plate. I am in Ontario, Canada and the holes on the plate were a bit off, but I just drilled a small hole where needed and attached it to the part on the kit. No issues on the road at all (other than having to deal with compliments). :) Enjoy!
It looks better but I still would go with bigger signal lights. "They are quite bright when dark outside". Well I don't know when you ride the most? But I've had too many surgeries because some dumb f*ck had not noticed me. So soon as I am back in the saddle, it won't be me when I am not noticed.
VJ Bala: Great video for installing this fender eliminator!!! I own a V7 Racer and I want to get rid off of that big buffon fender it came with!!!!

You're right brother. I am an amateur and sharing my learnings with the world as I learn them. Thank you for your advice.
*Dude thank you so much for making this video! I just did my fender, and you made it so easy for me*
I'm so happy to read this. Share a photo if you can! Enjoy!
Great video man. Have been looking for someone to share this process and kit for ages - really helpful!
Thanks brother Paul. Enjoy!
thank you for the effort you put into this!
I'm thinking of installing a fender eliminator and this is very helpful information
Thank you for sharing! I noticed your Corsa Meccanica hat. I got my V7iii stone from them this year. I only have 350kms on the bike so no mods so far.
Amazing. Good guys there for sure. They are slow to follow-up on upgrades but if you nag them enough, they are great and well the only place I trust with my Guzzi.
Great instructional video, but the K-Town bracket isn’t compatible with Ontario licence plates. How did you get yours to fit?

Punching a hole totally worked! Thank you! Did you also get the dual load equalizer? I've noticed the faster flashing on signalling.
Great vlog VJ. To be honest i am not planning on doing this BUT it is very interesting to know what you discovered. Nice one 👍
Thank you friend.
Love your Leather work.
How do you find the fender eliminator kit handles wet roads/debris coming back up on you?

Good Video!... there was nothing electronic to add because of the leds... ( dual load equalizer )? It looked like it is flashing normally
No, there was no need to add anything extra :) Thank you for your message and safe riding friend.
Top vidéo,could you give me the mark of the mudguard used, thank you
Very nice mod on your great looking bike!!!! I honor you for admitting the mistake....and yes. that's how we learn!!! 😉
What about the visibility ? do cars behind you see the brake light well ? and during daylight is it bright enough ?
Hello friend, sorry for the late reply but yes, the lights are bright enough to be seen during the day as well :)
