    I send my sincerest thanks to Shiroh Nakajima ( @shiroh73 ) for inspiring me in creating this video 😚

    Thank you very much for this instructional video. I changed tires on my V7lll Special today. The front was a real bear, I had to use C clamps to get the beads to go into the center drop and this was after really struggling to unseat the beads. I did the front first because I thought it would be the easiest of the two. Then I did the rear, The beads broke easily and I got the new tire on and balanced pretty quickly. However Iwas having a miserable time trying to get the wheel back on the rear drive. I finally came in the house and went on Utube for more information on the proper procedure. Your video came up so I dove in. Turns out I was replacing the rubbers incorrectly, I didn't see how they were placed as they fell out when I took the wheel off. I watched how you placed them so I will do it correctly tomorrow and do a road test on the new tires. I replaced the Sport Demons with Avons, my favorite brand. I changed the front from a 100-90-18 to a 110-80-18. They are the same diameter, I am hoping it won't follow grooves as much as the Sport Demons did.

      @@tutogas I haven't been able to try them at speed due to being new and wet roads. I can report that the front absolutely does not follow grooves or seams in the roadway which was my main goal. They ride quite smoothly also but that is expected with new tires.

      @@tutogas Yes I do! Have you done valve adjustment yet, and have you made a video? Clearance is spec'd at 4 and 6mil, but some give a loose at 5 and 7mil?

    • @tutogas
      @tutogas  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jean-francoisauger9912 Yes, I have already adjusted the valves at 9,500 km but unfortunately I have not made a video yet; I'll write it down as a homework to do in the future.
      The procedure is very simple, the only complication being finding the top dead center of each cylinder (TDC). To do this you have to purchase a set of gauges and the adjustment is made as follows:
      - Exhaust valve clearance = 0.15 mm (0.0059 in)
      - Intake valve clearance = 0.10 mm (0.0039 in)
      Here is a video from the friends of @GTMotoCycles where they explain it well:

    V7 III 850 Special; If you have a centre stand you do not have to jack the bike up and you do NOT have to remove the rear shock absorber on the left side. After removing both silencers take off the number plate and there is enough wriggle room to remove the rear wheel with no issues.

    • @tutogas
      @tutogas  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Dear friend, I don't know if you watched the video in its entirety or if you simply had an interpretation error.
      In the video I have NOT removed the left shock absorber to remove the wheel, I have only removed the left silencer, as perfectly reflected in the images.
      Obviously, if I have a central stand you don't have to use a jack, but that's not my case. My V7III only has a kickstand.
      To remove the wheel you DO NOT have to remove the rear license plate. The problem comes when increasing the tire width to 140, and that's when you have to insert the assembly with the tire flat.
      I hope you found the video entertaining. Best regards.

    Hola, yo quería cambiarle de igual modo de 130 a 140 pero me decían que el cardan iba a rozar con la llanta, has tenido algún problema o se ajusta de algún modo? Gracias saludos desde Mexico

    Ciao, complimenti per i tuoi video, come ti trovi con il 140/80 come pneumatico? Hai per caso delle foto da mostrare in cui si veda la moto da dietro e la distanza dal cardano? Grazie mille

    • @tutogas
      @tutogas  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ciao grazie mille. Il pneumatico mi sembra molto buono. Mi dà buone sensazioni e dopo circa 3.000km posso dire che è consigliatissimo.
      Al momento non ho fotografie ma vi assicuro che calza perfettamente, anche con due persone in giro, senza comunque sfregare da nessuna parte. In Spagna ho superato la "ITV" ("revisione tecnica del veicolo"), in Italia la "Revisione dei veicoli", e vi assicuro che sono molto impegnative.
      Saluti amico mio.

      @@tutogas He oído que al cambiar el rodado se activa el control de tracción ya que detecta una anomalía o un parámetro extraño, y consecuentemente suele causar problemas; ¿ Te ha pasado ? ¿ Has tenido que modificar algún parámetro de la electrónica ? En otro orden, te agradezco muchísimo tu video, la calidad del mismo es excelente y tu eres extraordinariamente didáctico. Te felicito, sigue así !!! Por otro lado, siendo tu inspiración @shiroh73 no me extraña en lo absoluto la calidad de tu trabajo. Te dejo un saludo desde la República Argentina.

    Muy buen video; se aprecian las influencias del maestro 😉; yo también sigo los videos de 46works.
    Supongo que con la nueva medida estás dentro del 3% de diferencia legal. ¿Has notado diferencias en el comportamiento de la moto?, y para la rueda delantera, ¿has mantenido la medida?
    Saludos y ráfagas

    • @tutogas
      @tutogas  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Muchas gracias amigo. Pues si te digo la verdad, no he notado nada con el cambio de rueda trasera, ni para bien ni para mal, a excepción de verla un pelín más ancha (pero nada de otro mundo).
      La delantera, de momento mantengo la medida original, pero cuando toque cambio, montaré la medida homologada en ficha de 110/80 R18
      Un saludo.

      Gracias por tu sincera opinión, aunque creo que no has entendido ni el estilo ni el motivo del vídeo.
      Partiendo de la base de que cada uno tiene su propio gusto personal, el cual ya has dejado claro que difiere completamente con el mío, el vídeo no es un mero tutorial al uso como los demás vídeos de mi canal ( y mucho menos una recopilación de diapositivas como tu vídeo titulado "GH2E Hydrogen a fossil fuel replacement"), sino un intento de homenaje al gran @shiroh73, otorgándole un leve y suave aspecto `moody dark´.
      Obviamente, si no te gusta ver procesos de reparaciones mecánicas y no tienes una Moto Guzzi V7III, este vídeo nunca te gustará. Además te recomiendo subir el brillo de tu pantalla.
      Un saludo.
