    Lovely video and work. Your language is much more socially acceptable than mine during most glue-ups.

    I've always found the TH-cam algorithm or digital 'machinery' to be very curious. I know it's a lack of understanding on my part, but I watch and have seen just about every notable woodworking creator on here and very few videos/series are as well put together and informative as yours. Perhaps you aren't motivated by increasing views/subscribers, but you really should have many more subscribers and viewers! I've enjoyed every one of your series and look forward to each installment.

      The TH-cam algorithm is driven by numbers and there are simply more people interested in the kinds of programming we typically see. This has always been the case with the entertainment and advertising industry. Now we have hundreds of channels and “nothing's on” for people like us. Still, I’m thankful that we have the technology to find, communicate and share our interests with others who are like us. Let the world do what it wants, I’m making friends all over the place. Thanks for the compliment!

    Outstanding, noticed you used Liquid Hide Glue, do you use it normally or just for complicated glue ups?

    • @treebangham
      @treebangham  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Bob. I use yellow glue also, but yes, I like the longer open time of liquid hide for complicated joinery. Thanks for the question.

    Thanks for sharing. Out of curiosity, do you do any woodworking outside of when you film for TH-cam?

    • @treebangham
      @treebangham  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Joe. Yes, occasionally I have other projects going on in my workshop. I make boxes of various kinds as gifts, and recently I repaired my brother's guitar (he claims it was an accident).

    Glue ups are so damn stressful. I can see it in your hands you’re trying to make a video but also do a bang on job to focus and get it right. I’d be swearing and I somehow always end up getting ahead of myself without prepping for every step and there would be many many cuts in the video.

    • @treebangham
      @treebangham  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello AG. Glue ups are indeed stressful and preparation is the key. Joaneen has to know where I’m going so she can capture it on camera. We can’t re-shoot something if I screw it up. Glue waits for no one! As for the swearing….I can bleep that out. Check out this link where my glue up did not go as planned (skip the ad).

      @@treebangham lol I hadn’t seen that series of videos yet but yes that’s exactly how all of mine go. I just put together a simple tool tote for my young nephew and it was bleep after bleep.

      Bleeps are all a part of woodworking!
