@@pempcar There are critical functions of the car which rely on the original OS/screen's OS. They are asking if the user can still access the original BMW OS (iDrive). For example, I would assume that you cannot change charging-related options with the new screen, right?

No need, The Canbus protocol is built into the Android screen.

And you lose all the BMW functions. Totally useless.
No，it keep the oem radio, only replace the OEM screen, So it keep all bmw funcitons(oem info will displaied the new screen)
