Rear wheel bearing replacement Suzuki Swift 2005 by Home Handyman Mechanic using better tools(part2)

in part 2 we show the Suzuki Swift rear wheel bearing change but we use better tools such as a high power impact wrench, a bearing splitter kit as well as hydraulic bearing press. We had some problems removing the hub as the wheel bearing was stuck on the axle. This shows how we managed to remove the hub and then how we also removed part of the old wheel bearing .

What is the size of the bearing splitter needed to pull off the (stuck part of) bearing from the axle?

The bearing splitter kit had a large and a small splitter . I used the smaller of the two . Let me know if you need me to measure it .

Which number sockets did yu use to push the bearing out under the press? I see 2 sockets on top of each other,

You can use any socket from a socket set as long as the socket is just smaller than the wheel hub . Try to find a socket about the same size as the bearing ( but a little smaller ). I think there was only one socket used ( it may look like two ).

Best place is a car wrecker (find a place which has the same model car being dismantled).

The bearing separator kit I bought on eBay many years ago.
