Thank u for playing this song. I love Home Free. Home Free diid a beautiful job on the song. The beatboxer did a beautiful job on beatboxing Adam is the best.❤❤❤❤❤❤
I heard this song a lot, Lee Greenwood came to my base a few times. In the early 90’s. When you go to Mt Rushmore go just before closing so you can be in the retiring the flag ceremony. There were so many who lied about their age to get in. The youngest was Aanounced at age 11, Received at age 13 old a soldier in the civil war soldier. Then there was James Aloysius Walshwho received his at 16.
As a Canadian who's family came here in the 1800s from Massachusetts I still get choked up at the P{atriotism in the USA which is starting to take place here in Canada. Thank you for this and your service. I too come from a long line of veterans. People forget that there were 15 year old young men who faked their age to go to war and didnt come home. I have the utmost respect for any serviceman in USA or Canada who selflessly put their lives on the line to keep our Countries free
So glad to hear it! My sister just left Canada because of Trudeau... Patriots are patriots no matter the country and I respect them no matter what! Salute to Canadian Patriots!
I had never heard this version of this song. Seeing your reaction & sitting here with tears streaming down my face, I know that I am one very lucky woman to have been born in this beautiful land. I love my country, I love our veterans, and last, but not least, I love our God above for making it all possible,
Beautiful reaction . Thank you for you and your families service . The one with Lee Greenwood is really something else, hopefully you will give that one a listen also.
I'm also from a military family, sir. First of all, thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for your service and the service of your family. Second, thank you for your deep passion for this wonderful country of ours! God bless you, my man! ❤️ There is a song that Home Free does an amazing cover of called "Go Rest High" (CAUTION: Have your tissues ready!) I'm sure you've heard the original.
They did a whole album of patriotic songs. Their cover of “my country tis of thee” is beautiful. Tim (the bass) wrote an origal song called “land of the free”
Love this song! Home Free redid this song with Lee Greenwood himself and the US Air Force Singing Sergeants. It was during Covid but it’s wonderful. Home Free is pretty patriotic and has an album of this song and many others. You may love Brothers in Arms with Tim (the bass) in the lead and he goes really low. Tim has also written Land of the Free which is great too. I have soldiers in my family too. My grandfather served in WWI and was poisoned by the Germans with mustard gas. He survived but his voice was never the same. My dad served during WWII and my brother served and my cousin and nephew served as well. My dad’s best friend served at the Battle of the Bulge and became an alcoholic too. Love those men. Thank you for your service and welcome to Home Free!
Such a lovely heartfelt reaction 💚Thank you to you and your family for your service! They re-did this during the lockdown WITH Lee Greenwood and the Army Singing Sergeants and that version is definitely worth reacting to as well. Home Free's 'Go Rest High on that Mountain' , ' Brothers in Arms', and 'Travelling Soldier' are all also beautiful tributes to veterans
Thank you first and foremost for your (and your family’s) service. What a wonderful, heartfelt reaction! As others have suggested please also react to their newer version done separately (!) during lockdown with Lee Greenwood and the USAF Singing Sergeants - its a MUST. Other patriotic songs not already mentioned that they’ve done: Land of the Free (a Tim Foust original), Road Sweet Road and Only in America.
Adam Rupp (beatboxer) & his brother Chris started the band in 2001 (Chris left in 2016 to go solo). They won the "Sing Off" about a dozen years ago. You can't run out of content - there are over 300 videos. BTW, Tim Foust (bass) and friends do fund raising for at-risk veterans (some excerpts are available on y/t and on Austin Brown's channel).
Home Free started in 2000/2001 they became really popular after they won the Sing Off in 2013. As everyone suggested Home Free did a newer version with Lee Greenwood and the US Air Force Band. Also Home Free just released a Christmas album called Any Kind Of Christmas and also released 3 videos off the album The Thanksgiving Song Hark! The Herald Angels Sing Let Me Come Home ( it’s an original written by Adam Bastien their new member)
Home Free did a whole patriotic album called "The Land Of The Free", (named after a song in the album that was written by the bass guy Tim, which is a phenomenal song) you should check out more of their videos, they are amazing.
Great reaction, you have to check out the version they do with Lee Greenwood and the Army singing Sargents it’s amazing. Hope you react to that one as well and many more. 😊
Don't anybody suggest this guy listens to the version they did with Lee Greenwood and the Air Force Band. He'll never survive it. Honestly, liver, this is one of the best, rawest, and most honest reactions I've seen. I'm also a vet and I share your love of country. This song makes me cry, too. God bless you, Brother.
Thank you for your service. During the Pandemic, they did another cover of God Bless The U.S.A. With Lee Greenwood and the United States Air Force Singing Sargents. th-cam.com/video/SrMftm6Km3g/w-d-xo.html. I find it to be awesome.

That song means even more today than ever!
