I appreciate your comments Jim and I am aware of the forest fires in Canada. I am extremely cautious and have a fire extinguisher at the ready to tackle any potential fire. Unfortunately I don't have a workshop to fix anything up at the cabin. Thanks for subscribing! Take care, Scott
A fire extinguisher does nothing for a leaf and timber fire. A tinder can smolder for days in the peat in our forests until it finds something dry to fully ignite. Some fires in BC have been smoldering under ground in root systems for a year or more. They find a dry tree eventually, and ignite the tree. Please research fire control in our canadian woods and how they start .
