Best builds for Marauder Bombers, Legions Imperialis

Welcome to another installment of the Legions Imperialis series. This time I talk about the Solar Auxilia Marauder, and several effective builds.

Note: I forgot to specifically mention that in order to shoot all Destroyer anti-armour weapons, you have to turn the model to the side so the target is in both the front and rear arcs at the same time.
Correction: rear arc only affects Knight Ion Shields, not Titan Void Shields.

yup, ion shields rule specificly mentions this, which is again why the burrow weapon trait is so good at dealing with both it and titans, as it not only explicitly mentions always hitting in the rear arc, thus bypassing ion shields, but also explicitly mentions bypassing void shields as well, and STILL hitting the rear arc, meaning it will always have a bonus ap against all vehicles (minus flyers), knights, and titans.
... then ofc there is the um
Warp rule...
that the reaver get on the warp missile... which is uh, broken. And you can bring two of them ina 3000 point game.

They would be more effective if you could actually get hold of them. All the aeronautica stuff seems to be permanently absent from the shelves, have they even reboxed them yet?

its too bad the bomber variant only comes with the bomber kit and none of the others. where do you find the kits to bash these variants together. the bombers dont even come with sky strike missiles in the kit.

Interestingly, the regular bomber kit appears to only come with 8x missiles and 8x bombs for the two bombers. The Destroyer box art has 8x missiles per plane, but none appear on the sprue images. The Pathfinder nor Colossus have sprue images, but say it is the same as bomber kit, but with upgrade components. You may be on to something; this is a travesty!
