Just last night I was browsing Gene (and Madra) dolls and outfits on eBay and marveling at just how affordable most of them now are compared to when they were released back in the '90s and aughts. (The Ashton Drake years.) Gene played a huge role in kicking off adults collecting fashion dolls back in 1995 when she first appeared, and she deserves more love today! Let's bring back Gene Marshall!
I love to play with my dolls too on a lazy Saturday. These dolls and their clothes are exquisite! I only have Barbies but would love a Gene doll. I’m on the lookout now. Thanks for the video 😊
Glad I could introduce Gene to you! The size comparison to Barbie is a little surprising- she’s like Barbie The Giant. I had to move some shelves up to fit her 😊
I have a few....and a few outfits. And I played with them just a couple of days ago. Along with Madam Alexander "Alex", Tyler Wentworth and Trent Osborn. Yes those shoes (sigh). The clothes are fabulous. But most of their clothes I sewed because I couldn't afford them at the time. Some of the dolls and clothes are affordable now though. Make sure you show and tell your new acquisitions.

They are such gorgeous dolls and you have so many outfits for them. I have to admit I have had my eye on Gene Marshall dolls before and would definitely consider adding them to my collection, I really like the 40s and 50s glamour that Gene exudes.
Hi Kada, I really loved seeing you dress up your Gene Marshall dolls. I have two myself but have never redressed them. Right now they are packed away as I like to bring them out as a treat for myself at Christmas time. They really are beautiful dolls with a fabulous wardrobe. You have so many outfits. Fantastic!

Maybe next time try to show up close to the camera the pamphlet of the story of each dress that comes with it so that we can read them. It’s part of the fun knowing what “role” Gene played in that particular outfit…😊

I got two. I would get more because they are nice dolls. But they are too big and I'm running out of room. Also, they never changed the face screening. There's this Madta All About Eve set I wouldn't mind having. I wouldn't mind also getting a Violet Waters.

after you showed the video of the three dolls months ago i bought two on e naked you should be happy to get all those clothes becuse wow are they pricey on e as much as the dolls sometimes. i cant write out e name or they ill take my comment off but you know where
