You decorate for Halloween like I decorate for the fall. I remove it all the day after Thanksgiving for Christmas. I would definitely use the doorway space for some wall shelving especially since it won’t take space away from your dining.
Love the decor! The pops of red everywhere are so eye catching and vibrant! ❤ I’ve got a bunch of Halloween bins in my basement that have been down there for 3 years that I have to go through. Not looking forward to the spiders and dust. 😂 I love Cripsin Glover. He’s so cute! 😁
Love that you noticed the pops of red. A definite horror movie cliche and I love it 😄 Ooh it’ll be fun to rediscover the stuff in your old Halloween bins! Mine are kept in the garage so I feel your pain w spiders 😖
Qui in Italia sono tre settimane che fa un caldo tremendo! Non vedo l ora di calarmi in un clima piu autunnale !😂Adoro le feste di quel periodo! Se non altro mi hai fatto venire un po di brividi😂😂😂😂
Ooh I love the hidden doorway! An idea popped into my head when you said you still had the door, it’s probably not a good one but I would put the door back in front of where it came out of and you could put some ghostly images in the windows and decorate it for Halloween with cobwebs or some shredded linens make it look like it’s appeared for the spooky season kinda like a doorway of the spirits or something I don’t know lol I just thought that would be super creepy in a haunted fun way! Lol absolutely love all the decorations! For me last year was really the first year I ever really decorated for Halloween and it was so much fun! I made most of my decorations and I can’t wait to expand my decorations this year! 🧡thanks for all the spooky inspiration! 🖤🧡🖤🎃💀👻🤡 oh also p.s. last Halloween me and my oldest daughter watched the movie House of Fears from 2007 oh my wow I couldn’t even finish watching it lol the scarecrow and the clown that’s all I’m gonna say lol it was terrifying lol but kinda cheesy at the same time but I couldn’t make it to the end lol 😂
@@kadawalden 💕 let me know if you watch it you might be braver than me and actually make it all the way to the end lol it was almost the end but that image I just couldn’t do it anymore lol
Loving the decor so far. Halloween is my favorite holiday. Cinderella definitely looks better after . I try to setup mini Halloween dios here and there. I don't make any permanent changes to our current rental. Once we decide where to make our permanent home it's on 😄
Have you ever seen that 1980s horror movie called “Tourist trap”? It’s with Chuck Connors. I loved it as a little girl and I love it to this day! It’s wild!
I enjoy watching people making over those porcelain dolls (and pink doll houses) we see often in the thrift stores into scary haunted dolls. One trick is to dye their clothes black and re do the faces...very clever and fun. A couple of years ago we were in DC and of course we visited the Exorcist stairway. I took a pix and texted it to my son...no caption nothing. He immediately sent a reply saying he got goosebumps. What would you say is the most iconic scary movie location (real, not a studio set) in the USA?
I love those spooky remade dolls too 🤩. Interesting that your son got creepy vibes from the stairway pic! 😮 I’d say the most iconic real horror movie set/location is The Dakota in NYC. Also any of those old abandoned sanitariums. There’s a lot of those movies! 🫣
Here's Spookin at ya kid 😆! Do you ever have Halloween parties at your house? Are the 4 pictures in the dining room from the Haunted Mansion 🤔 I feel like poor Cinderella wouldn't be caught dead being turned into a zombie 😮 You gave her a great makeover though 👍 I love seeing how others decorate for Halloween 😎 I used to decorate a little for Halloween when our kids were small but I stopped a few years ago. Can't wait to see all 14 or so of your stuff 🤓
Hee hee! Yep those tapestries are indeed from Haunted Mansion. Love that retro artwork😀 We don’t have a Halloween party per se, but we usually have an “open house” on Halloween where people come & go 🎃
i bought a house that had a long closet in the bedroom and at the end of it their was 2 thick chains hanging from the ceilimg with 1800 handcuffs on them yes i put a dresser in front of door and have never used it
Really??!! 😱🫨 Wow! My house had secrets in the crawl space but nothing like that. I do love old houses, even w their creepy histories (or perhaps because of them)! 🥰
I haven't played True Fear yet, its on my list to do next, but if you like hidden object games Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Grey Syndrome is my top favorite spooky HOGs and I have played a lot of those. (I have over 70 hidden object games completed and about 50 to do in my Steam Library)
@@kadawalden it's definitely a sad moment in the movie but the rest of it is beyond twisted and to this day one phrase from that movie lives rent free in my head and turns my stomach every time I hear it. The one Halloween movie I cannot watch is the rob zombie version, I can stomach almost anything and will sit uncomfortably through it even but I have actually only walked away during a horror movie once and that was during terrifier 2 and most of my friends know if I get up during a movie then you know it's really bad and I've seen all of the other movies in the franchise
THe doorway in your dining room is very interesting!! 😆Lovely house!! 😍Also wow I had no idea about the PSYCHO reference in H20!!
Haha! Yay, always happy to share horror movie trivia! 🤩
Love that Raven lamp and Cinderella’s makeover!
That lamp is impractical but I love it. Glad you do too 😁
Your bins are perfectly battered & spooky 😂
I know! 😂😂 I love that you noticed that 🤣

@@kadawalden your welcome I love your channel

I recommend the Japanese thriller called audition it's an interesting horror movie that will give you a fear of piano wire (I'll leave it at that)
Two other friends mentioned Audition 😀 I wanted to watch it but I understand a dog dies, and that’s my nope threshold 🫣
