As the video description states, this is a tool-assisted run. I used save states to complete the game. So much about my skills ;-) Vigilant viewers also may have noticed that I garbled the highscore code at the end of the game. Of course I did not submit the code to the global highscore table - Honour to whom honour is due.

Not only does it look like it was made 30 years ago, it also runs on hardware that was made 32 years ago. And for this hardware it is an awesome piece of hard work, written in 100% assembler.
I like the vibe of the soundtrack but the lack of weapon upgrades and losing the options at the start of each new level make this 100% not my type of shmup. Retro shmup need awesome weapons.
After a while I decided the soundtrack was worth looking into it... effin hell, 30 EUROS for a download shmup? Even the BEST steam shmups are like 10 to 15 AUD. That's almost 60 bucks in my currency and greed never pays. No way Jose, as a matter of principal. He can keep it! Enjoy, all the beta testers here that got it for free (you can't have an opinion if you didn't pay for it).

@AmigaMaster totally agree, looks amazing, Proxima 3 looks even better:) need to get myself an Amiga mini to play these games.
