Hey Wallie, that department store you pointed out used to be a Kmart. It closed back in 2014 and a lot of the store was subdivided into other businesses. Only a small portion of the store is left unused.
That old department store in front of Giant Eagle used to be a Kaufmanns back in the 80's. They moved to the Beaver Valley mall and it became a K-mart until it closed about 10 years ago. 😢

Yes, I remember there being a Kmart “upstairs” from Giant Eagle (which was a Gimbel’s, then a Kaufmann’s)! There are still some open Rite Aids in Grove City, Mercer, and Slippery Rock. As far as I know, they won’t be closing anytime soon.

I live right up the street from it can I take my daily walk to walk right past it I missed that store right now that was my favorite store to go to and it was more convenient for me to go there cuz I'm right down the street from me I live in Rochester
