Hey dude, great video AS ALWAYS!! I’m still campaigning to get the Long John Silver’s logo on your intro!! Haha. Keep the videos coming!!! Take care and stay awesome!!!
There was one in Hermitage, Pennsylvania on East State Street. It closed sometime before Covid in September 2019. It was demolished to make way to make a new DQ right next to a beer store.
Hey Wallie ...just wanted to let you know I went past the vintage Arby's in Kent that you filmed a few months ago. There's a fence around it and an excavator is setting in the parking lot. I think it's coming down!!! I'll let you know ....
Kinda looks like it was once an old Rallys restaurant those side windows might have been dual drive thrus at one point I think theres a Brusters ice cream in North Olmsted Ohio never been there yet as we have East Coast Custard and Handels ice cream which are both phenomenal
Ive used to go to this ice cream place all the time as a kid for years and even as an adult until it closed. Ive been in New Castle my whole life. Its been closed for at least 4 years now i think.
This place closed sometime after August of 2019 since the latest street view on google maps of the street this place is was August 2019 and this place seemed opened.
Sad to see this go. I like going to ice cream shops, I think it would be great for it to become another Ice Cream Shop or more like a mom and pop shop. Also as a car guy Have you ever worked on a 2013 ford edge? What do you think about it? We have been having engine problems and maybe would like to know what you think? I also hope you can have the bee friend for a good long time:)
About an hour south from where I live is the state of Delaware and there's a town About 20 minutes south of Wilmington de called New castle Delaware it's along the Delaware River and the town is suppose to be historic and the county in that part of Delaware is called New castle county
New Castle in general has seen a big downturn following the pandemic and a number of companies guilty of aggressive over expansion. Brusters has several locations here in beaver county including the original location near Jerry’s curb service. They have one in Hopewell twp that’s always full and theres a mini golf/ ice cream place that’s seasonal by Harold’s inn up on broadhead road.
Speaking of “mom and pop” places, there is an ice cream place on Route 65 a few miles south of New Castle called Forbush’s. SO GOOD!!! It will make you forget all about the abandoned Bruster’s! 🍦🍨😋
Man I tell you what, if I was down there, I couldn't pass up that old Panasonic cause I need a new computer to produce music on and that might work. Id have a rock through that window and that thing would be gone. Just kidding. I have been in that post office last fall, went right through that back and it was pretty cool. It had the live carpet up in it.
I recommend going up at that coffee shop in town, the Confluence. It's only open a few days but they have open mic night on Thursdays I think and I go in that cascade galleria and they got some new stores in there.
And yah man what in the world is Wong with this weather man this shit is goin backwards instead of forward what the hell did Phil do crap out an egg and looked at it an said early spring is on the way more like winter is on its way back here...I think someone went to ant articA and brought back an ice Berg and dropped it off here..its freakin goin down to 43 Wednesday night here cRrrrayzay..

An awesome abandoned video, Wallie! 👍👍👍👍 Here in Weirton, we once had Brewsters ice cream just off Three Springs Drive near Kroger grocery store.

There’s a Brusters near me in Delaware that’s still open and I enjoy getting a strawberry banana smoothie.
Got to love the video ❤❤
You’re in my town! I used to do some work for the guy that’s owns that Brusters property. I guess there’s just not much interest in it to get it sold

Sadly, there will be many more abandoned places if the economy doesn't turn around.
