i got myself 24 pieces a week ago, put them on a flat wall with 6 TESA Posterstrips on each Panel. Works fine and i can remove them without damaging the Wall.
I have put up the exact same wall for behind my 98inch Samsung. Using a normal hand held grinder with a general purpose blade works much better for clean cutting and precise shaping and minor adjustments. I used long rolls of white 3m double sided tape along all vertical and horizontal edges not in the middle. As the tape was white I was able to put to adjoining panels over the middle of one tape run meaning there was white tape behind and tiny gaps in the panel joins. No need for calking and the panel fit was tight and perfect
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for OMG!!! I saw a church stage where they installed 3D paneling on the back wall to their stage, then added a Video Wall, MH lighting and WAHLAH!!! A REAL GAME CHANGER AND VERY COST EFFECTIVE!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! Luv U
I recommend to buy 4x8 1/2 foamboard or gatorboard an install the panels to that with velcro and simply hang or screw 4x8 p. to the wall . Easy to remove and adjust....
Hey man, I don’t have a single source to recommend unfortunately, I find them from a lot of search work. Here is a good one to try with your set up! th-cam.com/video/Dji7czwpwGI/w-d-xo.html and thank you on the TV. I love the CX! I hear really good things about the C2 2021 model as well, though it does not get as bright
@@MrTekSuggest ya I’m getting one of those. I’m trying to figure the difference between it and the C1. Price is the same but the X looks better. I have an eye for video and an ear for sound. That’s why I love your channel. Hands down the most satisfying site I’ve seen on the TH-cam. Do you use a sound bar for your audio? I guess I can look and see. @@daniel243ish Gotcha. The C1 is actually about 4/5 hundred dollars more than the CX. And I appreciate it! Also my sound bar is actually pretty dated and I need to upgrade my audio soon!
Another great video. I definitely need these panels 'cause my wall is flat white. They remind me of a short throw flashlight design or even the old F-117 stealth fighter how they deflect the light.
Literally just ordered the Govee Smart LED light bars, Govee Glide lights, and 16ft of the RGBIC light strips and then I saw this haha. I have black foam squares right now but these are going to look way better.
After your review I bought the Immersion kit (loving it), bought 2 times the Dreamcolor 5m RGBic light strip (5m) and now I think I'm gonna upgrade my TV setup with these 3D wall panels too :) Stop it man...stop it... :D

-lol you spoke for all of us man. about 5min into this video my wife walked in the room, seen what I was watching and then said she just placed her order. its even more funny because she got on me for ordering the immersion 2.0 and both govee lamps. lol
bro your walls look perfect for just adding led strips in those gaps and then add a diffuser strip on top, are the walls like that for any particular reason or just the style?
Do you think 3m adhesive would be good for sticking these the wall? My other idea was to use Velcro command strips but cut them skinny so they can stick to the panels
I have a 77 inch wall mount and don't want to take the tv down to do this. Could i get away with having the panels be only like 4 inches behind the tv on the sides? Don't have back lighting yet.
I really like this project and considered doing it myself last year but after calculating my wall space found it was a little too pricey for me. How high and wide did you go with the panels? Did you take it to the ceiling and how far left and right of the TV? Thank you
Hey there, my project area is 8FTX 4.5FT. The panels are about 4 inches away from reaching the ceiling at the top. My TV is 65 inches, so there is about 20 inches on each side and 15 inches on top and bottom, from the edges of the TV to where the wall panels end
i like it but , i think that you need to remake the joints , try some white silicon , or some type of white paste for the unions , i can see where the panels unite and it's a little ugly :) but it's ok .
Thanks for watching! I've used silicone based caulk in the past, which I captioned. I experienced cracking and yellowing over time, which started to look pretty bad to say the least
Have you ever done a video with your suggestions of how to find "AWESOME" 3d screensavers. The backgrounds that you use while diy'n and showing us how to do something are really different and unique. Many are good enough to want to have a slow music type of soundtrack to go with them. Like cosmic relaxation videos. Do you have a place where you go to find them? Thanks for your vids by the way. Informative.
Hey there, that’s a great idea for a good video down the road! Unfortunately I cannot recite a specific location that list out the material. Lots of hunting, digging and poking around for the perfect saver! Thank you for watching!
That’s a good question! For 32 sq feet, 2/3 packs should do the trick if you cut them as shown! But it’s a safe bet to order an extra pack to be on the safe side.

Good info on these panels I've seen them never knew were to get them .the wall you covered wasn't cheap . Tin snips might be easier to handle cutting panels if you don't have hedge cutters . Great informational video. Thanks for sharing
Appreciate it! Really good tip on the tin snips. Bet that would also work really well for fine cuts. One of the biggest pros for the hedge shear, is how large of a cut you're able to get with one single motion. And you're definitely right about my slat wall. I remember being really hesitant to cover it up a while back, but I just wasn't getting the reflection I wanted with my LEDs. I also have this slat wall on other areas of my studio, so I still get to enjoy it:)
