    For anybody recently purchasing the dreamview P1 bars. I just set mine up yesterday and I noticed the same issue with the colors displaying as mostly red and pinks when my screen was actually displaying darker or cooler tones. I mostly fixed this issue by adjusting the white balance setting in the app. Play around with this setting as it will be different for each display. The default setting was set to the warmest setting. I actually had to set mine to the coolest setting. Seemed counter intuitive but it appears to have fixed the issue so far. Hope this helps!

    Thats a pretty sick voice over! nice vieo man! Just got my Flow Pro today, it had a valentine deal. Had been checking Philips Bars but for simply "try and see if i like it" i found that way to expensive.
    So far i think the flow pro is nice. Im gonna try to use Velcro so i can switch between laptop setup and tv setup

    • @RomboutVersluijs
      @RomboutVersluijs 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      One thing i do hope they change or update, is the power output. it looks like its exponential. At 50% you almost at 100 already. there is hardly any difference. 1% feels like 10 already.
      I also hope they make a desktop app

    • @RomboutVersluijs
      @RomboutVersluijs 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      ONe other thing i dislike. The wire comes out at the bottom, in all their images they retouch out that wire. I wont push them down completely since that will stress the cable. They should putten a cut in the stands so the wire could pass through and wire it out from the back of the lights.

    • @RomboutVersluijs
      @RomboutVersluijs 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      One other thing i would suggest to them is lower the angle of the camera. With a lower angle it will capture more of the display. Currently it just grabs about 1/3 if your lucky. If its tilted down it will see the top corners better. At least i think. First time i saw these i could not understand why it could only be placed at the top. At the bottom its less distracting. Gladly they made that possible now. BUt i guess it doesnt really matter. I think the older version will work upside down

      @@MrTekSuggest Well i need to clean the velcro on one side of all vibers. Even i do got 3M tape it wont hold properly. Went tking them off the tape doesnt hold.
      But i found another easier method. Because they are angled i put them side by side at the top of my monintor mount. I got a dell with a vertical stand. Then i use a hair rubber band to hold them together and the band goes over the top of the monitor stand. The bars rest on the cables which come through the hole. And because the are 45deg angle they glow outwords. It works perfectly !!! Its was even easier vs the Velcro setup :)

    I'm a little burnt out on watching videos and doing research the past two days, so I apologize if I'm asking a question you've already answered. I currently have a LGb7a 65" model and the back panel has a raised section -- a hump, if you will -- and due to that fact, I'm leaning more towards these Flow Pro Bars since I don't think the strip lights will be easily applied. Of course, it seems like the bars are better suited for a smaller model TVs and should probably figure out a way to implement the strip lights. What's your suggestion?

    • @MrTekSuggest
      @MrTekSuggest  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man, no problem at all. I would really try to get the strips to work first because I really think that you would be much happier with the experience for your screen size. For a 65" TV, you will not be able to install the strips right to the edges anyway. What model TV do you have specifically?

    Out of every one your a G bout yours homie. Nobody was good enough to explain the right way. Not everyone will understand tech talk and that’s what these fools be doing so it makes it harder to understand.. but the problem with these lights is most people like myself has the tv hanging so the bars are a lot lower. So I had to build either a wall mount or an adjustable speaker stand.. I know this is an old video but gots to appreciate it regardless.. I have the T1 version of this. And it didn’t have the option to stick these on the back of my tv. Soo I just used my Mexican ingenuity lol and made them stick a certain way bcuz mine are rounded unfortunately and I have my ps5 behind my tv I wanted it to look in the front as ghosted as possible.. I’ll tell you what homie it makes a bigger difference bcuz it adds on to the already strip of lights .. so those colors you mentioned at the end of this video I have not had that off color. It takes time to figure out and adjust the lights but the bars over power sometimes the led’s , so if one side is green and red bcuz I followed your style it’s pretty much on point. At first I wasn’t going to put the bars on but after watching videos and seeing yours and I ended up calling govee customer support and asked bunch questions.. there the ones that actually laid it down bout why the bars sometimes don’t catch that right light. So now everything spot on .. I know with certain games or things that are very fast the lights 90% stick with the games for most part. Nothing is gonna be spot on and I’m really hard on everything to be just right or spot on but in reality it’s not.. anyways much respect homie..

    Do you need both the light bars and the immersion strip for the optimal experience?

      @@MrTekSuggest have you tried having the light bars behind the TV with your strip?
      That's the only way I'd do it.
      Having the bars either side of the TV like in the video just wouldn't work for me, I'm not sure I like that look.
      Having everything behind the TV may be overkill though even if you turn the bars down by 20% like you suggested.
      Living in Australia it's an expensive investment, I don't know for the price I'd see the difference having everything behind the TV.

    If your TV is bigger than 55“ then use some plastic 90° angles to attach the leds to and mount them so that the leds are at a 45° angle facing the wall. I even did this with my 55“ OLED to get the most light out of it.

    • @VexX_DreaD

      @@MrTekSuggest I see but if each control box has its own power source then it should be okay. Only damage I can see is maybe the camera, by feeding two control units light data. Even then if nothing happens I could see maybe colour accuracy and response go down by possibly light info getting lost. BUT Shouldn't a splitter duplicate the info and send it down two paths? If that's the case, it's a possibility it may work without a problem.

    I got the bars about 3 weeks ago. Then this week I got the LG C1 55” oled. I was told that the bars wouldn’t work on a 55” and wasn’t clearly told if it was the field of view of the camera or the projection of the bars. Saw some you tube vids that folks were using them on 55, 65 and even 73. So I thought I would try to make it work. It does. I also think they got the color balance issue worked out since this vid was posted because I don’t seem to have those issues. However my tv is not wall mounted and actually sits about 4.5 feet from the wall. This may or may not help with that issue, I’m not sure. But I’m happy with how the bars work, like suggested, I may add the strips at a future date. Not concerned with it at the moment because I think the bars work really well. Something to think about with slim bevel tv’s like the c1. The bezel is way too thin to mount the camera at the top. The portion of the camera that mounts to the tv is about 1 1/4 inches wide so it won’t stick to the bezel of thin tv’s. A work around to this is plastic bar stock 1 “ x1” . You can cut a piece about 3 inches long and attach it to the top of the tv with 3m tape and then attach the camera to that. Just a thought. I mounted mine to my sound bar as I’m still waiting on the bar stock to arrive.
