oh that sounds good
😊 great job
Thank you so much and thanks for watching.
just to clarify, in case anyone needs it - you're using Chex cereal to make Chex mix......
yes, Rice Chex or Corn Chex Cereal (I used Corn Chex). Then mixed with the cheerios, pretzels, m&ms and pour white chocolate over mixture to create a Chex Mix.
I would also add roasted peanuts 🥜🤤
Sounds like a great idea.
I always have used white c. chips. Is the bark cheaper? I lost my receipt so I am glad I found your Chanel.
White Almond Bark is $3.47 for 24 oz and White Chocolate Chips is $4.24 for 24 oz. at my Walmart. Not a huge difference but is a little cheaper. I just prefer the almond bark flavor a little more.
So do you use Almond bark in the Chex mix? Does it give a almond flavor?@@MommaNeedsAGoal
Hi I'm making Chex mix with white chocolate for easter can I make the day before or should I make it the day of I'm new at it

I so appreciate you sharing with me however every one of these sites tells me to check below and I don't know how to do that
It can get confusing. The recipe is in the description area of the video. Often times you will need to expand (click more) to see it. I am not able to paste a picture of it here in the reply section or I would to help out. But anytime you ever have any problems and can't find a recipe just let me know and I will answer with the link or if it is my recipe I will reply with it. Hope that helps and greatly appreciate your support. Here is the link dessertsonadime.com/christmas-crack-chex-mix-recipe/
Look at the title of the video. Underneath that, you will see “…more”. Click on the “more.” That will bring up more information. Took me awhile to find this, too!
Thanks for explaining in more detail, appreciate it.@@suecave7139
Maybe add nuts and marshmallows
I am working on a new one for this year. Going to experiment a little. I think it is so going to work. Sounds odd but I think it will be good. Keep an eye out hope to have it out in two weeks. Nuts would be great.
Yes and use the mini marshmallows.
They don't Wear Gloves, they are home bakers sometimes they do Say I Washed My Hands
They are non-commercial, Health Inspectors .
We call it Christmas Crack.
Yes, I have an Easter one called Easter Crack but it doesn't have chex mix. I think all of these that are addictive is called crack. lol Here is the Easter one if you are interested. Thanks for watching. th-cam.com/video/gOn-wrdNtR8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=D_6j8XsY9ZxDU5HH
I've watched several videos and no one uses gloves while breaking.i wouldn't want to eat after hands had been all over my food
🙄 Have you ever eaten someone else’s cooking? Do you really think you know how they prepare their food?
I think these TH-camrs are simply cooking or baking for their own families. Do you wear gloves to cook for your family?
Actually, gloves only give a false sense of security about cleanliness. Gloves won’t keep anything off your hands any better than washing your hands well before. Myself, I would use a spatula to break it up because gloves or no gloves, the warmth of your hands will melt the chocolate or almond bark and then there would be the temptation to lick your fingers.
@@shirleybrewer8921 that is true. Just meant I doubt that anyone wears gloves while cooking for their own families
@@joycehuff9769 I’m sure they don’t! I never do.
Almond bark is not white chocolate.......
I know
I was wondering what is the difference between white chocolate and almond bark
I have a bad habit of calling Almond Bark, White Chocolate but there is a difference. Here is a long explanation, lol
White chocolate and almond bark are often used in similar ways for baking and confectionery, but they have some differences:
Ingredients:
White Chocolate: Contains cocoa butter, sugar, milk solids, and vanilla. It must contain at least 20% cocoa butter, 14% milk solids, and a maximum of 55% sugar. It has a creamy, milky flavor due to the presence of milk solids.
Almond Bark: It is a type of confectionery coating that typically contains vegetable fats (such as palm kernel oil or hydrogenated palm oil), sugar, milk powder, and flavorings. Almond bark doesn't necessarily contain almonds, despite its name, but it's often used to coat nuts and other confections.
I find that Almond Bark Melts much easier than White Chocolate due to the fact it has vegetable fats.
Taste and Texture:
White Chocolate: Creamy, sweet, and rich due to the cocoa butter and milk solids. It has a smooth texture and a distinct taste of cocoa butter and milk.
Almond Bark: It has a texture similar to chocolate but lacks the flavor complexity of true chocolate. Almond bark tends to be sweeter and less creamy than white chocolate, with a milder taste.
Melting and Workability:
White Chocolate: Melts relatively easily and has a lower melting point compared to almond bark due to its cocoa butter content. It requires careful tempering to maintain its structure.
Almond Bark: Melts smoothly and can be easier to work with for coating or dipping due to the presence of vegetable fats, which give it stability at room temperature without needing tempering.
In summary, while both white chocolate and almond bark are used for similar purposes in cooking and baking, their ingredient composition, taste, texture, and handling characteristics differ. White chocolate is made with cocoa butter and has a creamier, more complex taste, while almond bark is a confectionery coating with a simpler flavor profile and easier workability.
Hope that helps, thanks so much for watching. @@idaschneider8000
