Yeah. The game tricks you into thinking that Bowser Jr's Boomsday Machine is just a pillar, but when you hit the top of it the second time, it grows into a tall tank-like object, with the same-looking treads and wheels and cogs, only covered in spikes that will ram you!

Bruh imagine having to fight huge bowser and mega hammer at the same time. It’s also nice how bowser was generous with his son because he was big and his son was small, so he gave him a robot suit to be the same size as him. He’s so nice.
I always thought that Sorbetti was a Cyclops and his eye was just the big red circle. I didn't keep that was his nose.

I was playing SMG2 and Super Mario 64 DS in the same time period, and seeing all the stuff in Throwback Galaxy in such great graphics and on the TV was awesome for me.
This vid made me realize I want HD remakes of Mario galaxy 1 and 2

Nostalgia is weird, but good.
Hey man, did you know that during the battle with the Whomp King, watch what happens if you die during the battle, then come back to fight him again. The Whomp King does start to give the same speech, but he grows bored of repeating it and cuts himself off just a moment after he starts. Then he makes a follow-up by daring you to try and beat him again, then lets out a final cry of frustration. I mean, OK, he must've grown impatient and cranky at his old age.

2:25 You forgot to mention when you fight him for the 2nd time he can cause lava pools to appear and when pushed into his 2nd phase he will call for meteors which also spawn lava pools making it even riskier hitting him. Thankfully he is optional the 2nd time of course. As for the whomp king you should've also mentioned he can stun you for a little bit if you don't jump this time around meaning he can make it more difficult for you to reach his weak spot

imo Bowser's final battle doesn't get the credit it deserves, especially the last phase - it's basically an interactive cutscene, and the overall atmosphere is amazing; you're fighting Bowser by smashing meteors against him, but this time inside a *BLACK HOLE*, and the music is even more amazing than the usual Bowser fight theme!
I may be an oddball here but, at least imo, that boss fight is one of the best Bowser fights ever

I love the final Bowser fight in Mario Galaxy 2, but the only thing that keeps me from saying it's my favorite boss in this game is that the final phase is a little bit too easy.

I love Prince Prikante and Bowser Jr.'s Boomsday machine.
I would put fiery gobblegut above the normal one. As for the doomsday machine, I would put it in the top 5 bosses in the game. It's such a good boss and can be quite hard in the daredevil run.
Mario Galaxy 2 is one of the best Mario games and I grew up with it

10 - Enjoyable boss battle: Not difficult but still fun. Oh, and the snow boss in FreezeFlame Galaxy was fun!
9 - one of the more difficult boss battles but after practice, it is not very difficult. It is still a cool boss battle
8 - I really enjoy this boss battle even though it is one of the easier boss battles
7 - I really enjoyed King Kaliente's boss battle so Prince Pikante, who is really similar to him, was really fun even though in my opinion, it is one of the easiest boss battles
6 - probably the easiest boss battle but he is still a ton of fun to play
5 - TBH, I much prefer the Bowser Battle in SMG1 but I still really enjoy the boss battle in this game.
4 - It is a cool boss battle and I quite like it. It is a bit difficult but still fun
3 - This boss is really creative and really fun but one of the hardest boss battles for me. I love it.
2 - This boss is cool but one of my least favorite boss battle as I find it pretty uncreative and he never wants to keep his mouth open!
