The traffic in Hialeah is abysmal, but it is a fascinating city. People will sometimes say "you can't find this anywhere else" in hyperbolic fashion, but in Hialeah, it's actually true. Love Graziano's and Flanigan's right next to the highway.
Bought a car here once. It was cool as hell driving around. The cuban neighborhood had chickens and goats just running around the street it was chill. The traffic was some of the worst I've ever been in worse than I-4
LOL, NEVER buy a car in haileah.. mostly crashed or flooded.. they got artist for real covering up those issues.. could even be stolen somehow still got papers.
I was born in Hialeah hospital in 1976 and lived there from 1984 until 2017. That's my hometown and it's where I grew up. The traffic was always bad, but I was down there last week and it seems to have gotten MUCH worse. But for a city of around 250,000 residents, it has very, very few murders or violent crime. It's around 90% Cuban, and it's a very family-friendly place. The worst kind of crimes you'd hear about were a stolen car here and there and a house break-in, but that never happened in my neighborhood in the nearly 30 years that I lived there. It's such a unique place that anyone that visits Miami should visit. I used to live near here. Right across from the basketball courts at Palm Springs Middle school. Hang a right at the 12th Ave light coming up, and make another right about 7 blocks at the light at 56th street.
If you are Hispanic and educated with highly marketable skills it’s a great place. That’s the profile of the average Hialeah resident. The cost of living isn’t off base. People there earn the money to afford it.
@SOUTHERN LIFE - my name is vincent, can we please have a 5 min discussion? I am moving to florida and have been eyeballin arcadia to flip a few homes. If your down, id like to know more of what you know :)
@Matthew Andrade Florida after awhile gets old, there are way more places more interesting in scenery then there. the whole state look mostly all the with tons of snow birds moving there have ruin the places.
WTF? Comparing Hialeah to Compton???? Jose, I think you've lost it dude! JK man. I grew up in Hialeah. Was great until 1980. It then began it's steady decline. It's different, but my heart will always be there. Keep up the great work. Enjoy you're videos and on-point assessments of everywhere you visit. Keep telling that truth!

I lived in Miami lakes for 25 years prior to moving to Wesley chapel. Was happy to see my old stomping grounds.
@Matthew Andrade compared to Miami Wesley chapel is reasonable.
