Canadian companies buying tens of thousands of homes nationwide and renting them out. Now Hialeah is developing land for rental properties. Noone is going to be able to own land or buy their own home if this keeps up.
Don't blame the American companies. Wall Street itself has plenty of American private equity companies that have decided to buy US housing. Blackrock comes to mind.
@RJP A walkable downtown. Hialeah has a downtown on the river adjacent to the Miami Springs Circle .A very nice quiet area that has failed to attract. Its very sad to face the truth.Hialeah park will be bulldozed to build another MANGO HILL or mini midtown ( without the hipsters ,) marketed as SNAPPER CREEK.
The buildings have ended up skyrocketing in price point and have already had 160 evictions thus far this yera. An apartment now is about 4K for 3 bedrooms, in an area where the vast majority are retired. Nice experience for whom? The New Yorkers?

Nobody in Hialeah knows how to drive. Who is issuing licenses to these folks. It’s criminal
Get therapy
Developers always win 💸.
Change for the rich or change for the poor? Bourgeoise wins again.
It happened already- is horrible. They ruined the park
darn, I thought they were leveling all of hialeah for the new ritz carlton residences
Hialeah is one of the few places left in Miami to make gentrification possible. Hialeah needs it and it needs to be a city that has its own downtown.
A walkable downtown would be nice

Housing is a right. Too many gusanos want to be landlords.
