I enjoy how you tied the generation together. I did something very similar a couple years back and did conversions of the first & second gen to 5e. The party spent most of the campaign going in and out of the shadowfell, making sure not to stay too long. The Artificer in the group asked if he could use monster parts to create weapons, armor, etc. They eventually ended up killing a group of "The Lonely". He decided he wanted to make a sash for the monk that required attunement. It allowed the monk to replicate the harpoon arm attack (Proficiency Bonus times per long rest). They worked this out with me in secret without telling the rest of the group. It was hilarious to watch their reactions when the monk started throwing flurry of blows at 60 ft like he was Luffy. After that they all started trying to figure out how to work with the Artificer to recreate other anime icons. It kinda turned into a game of its own.
@user-om1pp5qe5z Excellent question! I will covering this in part 4 but the short version is - Fourth edition was at times indecisive, mostly stating that the Raven Queen was in control of the Shadowfell, even though it was clearly created by Shar. Previous to 4e, Shar called the Grey Wastes (Hades) home, in 4e which has a whole new cosmology, she resided in the Astral sea in her own realm/plane called the Towers of Night. With all the changes to the Raven Queen in 5e, while its not defacto stated or clear, I think with the World Axis cosmology going away, we can assume that includes the Towers of Night, making it easy to offer an educated guess that Shar is now the dominant power in the Shadowfell, although the Raven Queen is still there as well, perhaps in defiance of Shar or perhaps not...
I really like how you tied the different generations together. Allowing them to exist in parallel in the 5e setting.

9:58 Even mentioning the Sorrowsworn he as been known to drain the energy of the wisest sage
New to the channel and I very much love the idea of having generational, different versions of monsters, still related at their core
Thanks!
Much respect to you for breaking down all these levels of lore- I salute you 🫡

Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment, very much appreciated!
Help ! I need part 3 !
I will be naming the Sorrowsworn loyal to the Raven Queen as the “Ravensworn” to avoid any confusion.
If one also wanted to preserve the Demonic version, my naming recommendation would follow suit; perhaps “Malisworn, “Malasworn” or “Malsworn” ?
So who is the major diety in Shadowfell? Shar?
