Lace rat: thin lace trim for sewing, I've crocheted with it before and it's pretty interesting Spaghetti rat: I'm sorry Sequin rat: I don't know if this is actually possible to crochet with but you get sequin trims for sewing that are a single row of sequins Twine rat: twine rat scrunkly Tassel rat: another sewing trim , I think it would be Very Funky Paracord rat: this one might really suck to make actually Chain rat: idk how much the stuffing would show through but I think he'd be a cool punk little guy

9:13 I feel this rant soooo much, lol Just the other night I was cross stitching on black cloth and I’d used pinking shears to cut the edges. I got to work and was in the zone, awhile later I go to take a break, place my cross stitch to the side and see my legs and lap covered in these weird black things. The fabric had left tons of little pieces all over me. Now I know go cut over the trash and shake like crazy to get any stragglers out. I learned to crochet on chenille yarn and couldn’t agree more about what a pain it is. Haha So glad you were on my recommended!

It looks really cool. I think that it would be interesting to see a rat crocheted out of black plastic bags. I mean, plarn (plastic bag yarn) is easy enough to make. It's just a plastic bag that's cut into strips so that it makes a loop, then those loops are sort of chained together to form a long strand of yarn. I've heard they weave and crochet mats out of plarn for the homeless. It's just a suggestion though.

Glow rat, glow in the dark yarn. I've only ever used lion brand cotton glow in the dark yarn but it glows so bright! Loved this video, very wholesome watch after a long day at work
It’s a skin scrubby. Definitely sell it. Don’t know how the stuffing will hold after getting it wet everyday. But that yarn is used on dish scrubbers and it exfoliates the skin. Personally I love it! ❤

ooh yeah, i just reclaimed some yarn that alternates tightly wound parts with bumps of unwound fiber (in a loosely knit cardigan, the thick parts cluster and make a fun, organic pattern) - but I've been wondering how it would work with amigurumi!

That rat turned out cute. I like it. My Aunt used to take bread bags...cut them and connect them together somehow and then crochet rugs with it. Try plastic bread bags. You would have to cut the bags into long strips first. I was really young and i regret the fact she never showed me how she did it before she passed away

It’s a skin scrubby. Definitely sell it. Don’t know how the stuffing will hold after getting it wet everyday. But that yarn is used on dish scrubbers and it exfoliates the skin. Personally I love it! ❤
I used the rest of this yarn to make dishcloths and I actually prefer them over my storebought ones!

one of those variegated yarns that kind of changes size (idk if it has a name but i've noticed it with a lot of handspun wool yarns) would be really interesting for this!! i feel like i never see amigurumi with variegated yarn in general
ooh yeah, i just reclaimed some yarn that alternates tightly wound parts with bumps of unwound fiber (in a loosely knit cardigan, the thick parts cluster and make a fun, organic pattern) - but I've been wondering how it would work with amigurumi!

That rat turned out cute. I like it. My Aunt used to take bread bags...cut them and connect them together somehow and then crochet rugs with it. Try plastic bread bags. You would have to cut the bags into long strips first. I was really young and i regret the fact she never showed me how she did it before she passed away
I think the right autistic person with certain sensory issues would be grateful for this. Not all people love the same textures. Would look great with black tail n feet too. ❤

I find that brushing fuzzy yarns (I usually use a cat brush) after crocheting brings all the trapped bits out and back to the surface
