I use Ice Seal n Shine as base coat and Ice Spray Wax as topper. Can I use this as my waterless car wash? Does it stack in a compatible way? (I’m using improved formula 2020 versions of Ice.)
I've used this stuff for both my cars for a while. I'll take my cars through the carwash (that has a ceramic option), and then I'll use this as an additional coat over that. One of my cars was down for several months, and this stuff was STILL beading rain. Once I got that car back up, I just sprayed it off with hose... looked like I'd just washed it.
If its a liquid wax then there are solvents in it that could do that. Hence let the ceramic coating cure (harden) then it is not prone to dissolving with other liquid detailers.
Hey Tony, we are sorry to hear about the streaking with our Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer. With our new Hybrid Solutions Ceramic products, less is more! Streaking of this product may be due to overuse. Be sure to only use 1-2 sprays per panel! Please let us know if you have any questions!
@@turtlewax is 1-2 sprays enough to prevent scratching on a medium to heavy dusty car? The problem I have is that it feels dangerous with very little but if I use a lot I get streaks. I don’t have that problem when I use Ice Spray Wax off-book as a waterless wash. Even on a clean washed car this feels more viscous than Ice Seal n Shine and sometimes I have to apply twice to get rid of light smears (1 spray on a subcompact SUV hood first pass, then a 1/4 spray for the second pas, with a clean dry wipe off microfiber after the 2nd, lighter pass). Even then I had a couple of pesky smears that were hard to wipe out. This was on a new vehicle with no dealer applied prior products, I just wanted to get something on quick and used Hybrid Detailer as a one stop product. Finally how dry or damp should my first rag be? At the start it feels dangerously dry in terms of the risk of scratches. After the first panel it feels wet-damp and I refold it to use the clean, but damp, flip side of the first panel which feels lightly damp and not dirty. Then a very slightly damp second microfiber to really spread it out after the initial dirt-lift pass, finally a 3rd pass with a completely dry microfiber for final product removal. Am I doing this right? I don’t mind the extra work (muscling against the viscosity, and 3 steps) but the visual appearance and slickness aren’t any better than improved formula Ice Spray Wax, which is a lot easier to wipe off with only 2 rags, and never streaks. Admittedly all my Spray Wax usage on our other car was after first Seal n Shining it, although it’s been months since Seal n Shining it. My major use isn’t a showroom shine it’s keeping it free of dust and occasional road film from wheel spray off wet roads. I’m going to redo the hood tomorrow, using Seal n Shine as my clay lube, then Ice Spray Wax as a topper (no separate application of Seal n Shine as base coat since the panel gets plenty already during the flaying).
Hey there! We apologize for the confusion. We needed to make a quick change within the video, but it will be back up very shortly! Thank you for your patience!
Can't wait to get a hold of the hybrid solution line here in Canada. Turtle Wax can you confirm if your new line will be in Walmart Canadian shelves shortly in December? Btw thanks for making awesome products.

This stuff does nothing but streaks and you have to go extra step or two to get rid of it by either spraying water on the panel and wiping it or wiping the panel afterwards with a damp microfiber and then come back behind it with a dry one

Can this also be used as drying aid?
Can I used it for interior leather and plastics?
The instructions on my bottle say not to use in direct sunlight or hot surface.
Can it be used on a car that already has Pro Max Wax Graphene infused coating? It is going to reduce the coat? Thanks!
What should I layer on ceramic spray to maintain it?
love this product ..i even use it on my zippo lighters
Can i use on plastic
@@srikanthdarling730yes, it works on plastic. I even use it on the dash for both of my cars.
Can the towels be washed and reused. Thanks
Yes
Nope..
It's a ceramic product, it will harden your towel
will this detailer hide few minor swirl marks? Thanks.
It will create them when you buff
Is this safe fo a ceramic coated car? I heard any product with wax can thin out the coating.

Excellent product for what it is, however... streaking nightmare. Also '2 - 3 sprays' per panel is hardly a water-less wash.
Can this be followed up with the ceramic detailed?
Hello i've buy your product but no instructions for use on the spray should the car be dry or wet for apply product ?
Hi there! For our Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer, we would recommend applying to a dry vehicle.
Is it okay after car washed (still wet) and spray Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer on and use the towel dry the car? tks
Did you find out
Just used this 3in1 detailer on a lightly dirtied car and had some streaking that was a bit hard to polish out.

@@turtlewax Thanks I'll try that. How do you only use 2 sprays per panel as a waterless though? Thanks
