the problem is Hayley doesn't sound like normal singer. There's really a punch in her voice that only she possesses. Her belt is non-understandable because they say it's mix but she makes it sound non-mix. And, yes she has cries in her voice that's so rare. it's not overdone
The problem is that Hayley is not just a gifted vocalist, but also has a very distinct voice and way to use it. This is near impossible to emulate, but at least you can try and make it your own. Are we trying to sound exactly like Hayley or are we trying to sing the song as good as we can? As both are fun things to try, but the latter is probably way more doable.
I'm a violinist of 11 years, but have absolutely 0 vocal training. Your 4 minute video already has me sounding 10x better! I will no longer live in fear of karaoke lol
she said: we cant be singing like 1:09 minute but i tried it and my voice sounded like an angel, i got the high note with so much control and IT DOESNT HURT AT ALL i sang confortably. and before my voice was really injuring during this high note. (who has this naturally depht and whiny on second style). Can anyone explain why this is occuring to me?
That is about as short and sweet as you would need to practice those hard parts of the song, at least from my novice perspective. Really clear advice and great using the examples. I've had some lessons from a singing teacher (a classically trained soprano), she didn't quite go into the poppy / rocky sound at all, just the more sound basic techniques you need to sing anything and how to extend your range, your breath and improve vocally. This is a bit different, but I feel it is necessary to reach that specific sound that Hayley has in the song.
my neighbours totally despise me rn i been screaming for ages
SAME LMAO
You should not be screaming, we were using a mix to reach the high notes.
just what i was thinking lol
Same😂😂

She’s a soprano and that’s why it’s easier for her, her break is easier to get through
@@pinobluevogel6458she uses a ton of good technique but she also uses some not so good techniques which has made her voice tired over the years

Thanks a lot for the tips. I didn't understand why I could sing the notes separately but not together. The whine was a really good tip!!
this is SO HELPFUL
That was actually quite helpful! I thought I couldn't sing this note. ☺️
Thank you for this
Thank you for this tutorial 😊
Yes he was screaming like a cat all night long he said it instantly helped him! Lol
I love it! If only practicing it didn't concern my husband 😂 I love this song so much.

I'm new to the term "mix." Could you explain what it is? Thanks!
I seem to lose it at the word "was"
Try a more bright vowel on “was”, so instead of WUZ you’re thinking WAAAZ, if that makes sense. It’ll push it forward and make the placement better :)
2:54
Why not her other songs
My problem lies with sustaining the note 😿
Same kinda, my voice breaks and goes air as soon as I try to go higher
I don’t think I’ve ever really understood the appeal of Paramore.
