In this cynical, shitty world, seeing people genuinely happy, about anything really, is a legit balm for the soul.

Seeing genuinely good game companies with amazing human beings on them brings me joy, to the point of getting emotional. More this, less Blizzard/Ubisoft/Rockstar/EA/2K.

you know, i'm usually a pretty pessimistic negative asshole about a lot of things these days , but psychonauts 2 kind of warmed my heart, at least for a little bit, and i'm very glad james and elyse both had a chance to be apart of it, i could of got it cheap through game pass , but i paid the 80$ for the steam copy and tbh , money well spent.
So nice to see James' goal that he's been talking about ever since I started watching Funhaus come to fruition.
Feel the same way although it's 1000x nicer since I've been with the Inside Gaming crew since the START. IM SO PROUD OF SON

Couldn't shake the familiarity I heard in Adam's voice until I remembered where I heard him from. Used to watch Inside Halo all the time, made the connection that he was Dead Pixel. Over 13 or so years ago. Crazy

James is actually the whole reason I know what physconauts is, and really my motivation for trying it was how passionate James has always been about the game. Awesome he got to have this experience.
I had heard of the game before but never played it. Just watching this video, seeing the beautiful artstyle of the game and seeing his passion for it.... I wishlisted the game on Steam, and once I finish the 2-3 games I am playing rn, I am gonna buy Psychonauts 1 and give it a go :)
Honestly, I think we thank James for the resurgence in interest in Psychonauts, even way before Psychonauts 2 was announced to be in development
This video is incredibly heartwarming, but I think the best part is you can see how happy Elyse is for James about everything.

As one of many watching since Inside Gaming, I can proudly say that James’ road to Psychonauts 2 is the most beautiful story ever told.

Suddenly James wakes up. Its 2015 the night before the game awards, turns to Elyse and says: "I just had the craziest dream".
If I would be very happy if the last 6 years were just the very strange dream of a random dude from California
James having this child like joy hearing it like bubbling as he talks about the game is just so fucking heartwarming

I was a long time fan of funhaus, loved all your guys work with funhaus and roosterteeth.
But i am not here about that.
I wanted to share my condolences towards the both of you for losing your beloved family member Benson.
I recently stopped my viewings of many TH-cam channels as i have went through many losses also.
I lost my dog to old age in 2018, i miss my dog very much, so i can feel your guys pain for losing such a sweat and kind soul like Benson.
I am a 6"5 indigenous man, an i am tearing up thinking about my dog the same way i saw your guys beloved pup on cam.
It is heartbreaking and i am very sorry my friends.
I miss my dog very much, i still cry hard to this day that he isnt wagging his tail or sitting beside me on the couch while i game out.
I am so sorry to hear about Benson, i just feel so heartbroken hearing about it.
I wish you both, James and Elyse the best and most of condolences.
Benson was a wonderful dog.
He always stole the show when you guys had him in funhaus.

I played the first Psychonauts a couple months ago just because of James and ended up loving it so much I got the platinum trophy for it on PS4. Now I’m getting Psychonauts 2 day 1.

I finally played it since it came to gamepass recently and I cannot wait to buy it on PS4. Sure, could totally play the sequel on gamepass but man, do I wanna support this game. Really annoys me how poorly it did at launch.

I played Psychonauts for the first time a month ago and it was fantastic. For a game that came out over 15 years ago, it holds up incredibly well.

It's so awesome to see that you guys are in Psychonauts 2! You guys truly deserve it! Psychonauts was a big part of my childhood, and I've played it dozens of times growing up, and to see it finally getting a new game all these years later is a dream come true. I hope this spawns more games in the future for the franchise. No one truly knows how much the first Psychonauts means to me (I named my cat after Raz). I hope Psychonauts 2 is a big hit when it releases next week and sells millions. Psychonauts truly deserves the love and the success. This was one of my absolute favorite games growing up right next to and in line with other great games like TimeSplitters 2 and 3.

My life has been filled with unintentionally perfect moments, from turning on the tv one day and discovering TechTV just as it began it's transition to G4 and then making the leap from Inside gaming to Funhaus a channel I'd never heard of before 2 years ago. I also remember going to the local Movie Gallery to rent a game for the weekend, my mind was blown when I picked up the random new game I'd never heard of before. Psychonauts is my all time favorite game and I can't even begin to express how wild it is to share that same feeling with someone who I look up to, James you and everyone at Funhaus are amazing and I'm so happy to share my love for Psychonauts with you.

I had exactly the same first introduction to psychonauts. That Cheat episode got me super into it, and I was so happy that it wasn't a mistake to grab it on my birthday all those years ago.

I didn't think anyone liked Psychonauts as much as I do. This was amazing to watch. With very few streamers, youtubers, etc I follow talking about this game, it felt so good to see one be the passionate about it. Also I absolutely exhaust every minor and major character's dialogue in the game so finding out you were the rich couple was a joy! Truly funny.

You know, I'm pretty sure I actually first heard about psychonauts from the same tv show as james. Which is wild because it may be the only episode of that show I've watched in my life.
Years the only game I remember having its praises sung by James is psychonauts. Remembering him talking about it at Inside Gaming and the Open Haus episode back when Funhaus started where he almost begged to be in the game. Now that was one thing but seeing that photo of him reacting to the trailer hits mad hard and shows what the game truly means to him, more emotion in one photo then I've ever seen before. Finally seeing this story conclude after like 6+ years is insane. I'm really happy for you! Can't wait to see the inevitable playthrough!
