1 it is! It’s super cheap on PS4, under $10 if I’m not mistaken! At most, maybe $15. It’s got a lot to do, & if you dig old-school platformers, you’d dig on this. The story/atmosphere is so great...
@@user-df9ce4nn4m Do it! As has been said it's an incredible experience. One of my favorite platformers of all time. The themes and storytelling are both very deep and well handled, and it's both funny and sometimes heartbreaking. But, that's all just a bonus, because the actual game itself is incredibly fun. Plus, the sequel is coming out next year, so this is a great time to jump in to it!

this was one of my favorite games when I was like I think 18 or 19 Jesus it changed my whole perspective and thinking in games and stuff
It truly is one of the best platformers of its time. Everytime you hear its underrated, people aren't just saying that it truly is underrated and deserves allot more love. Thank goodness some youtubers picked it up and put it in the spotlight a bit over these past few years, or I doubt we'd be getting a second one, which I've been waiting for since I was 7 years old
I remember seeing the game for rent on the blockbuster shelf back in the 2000s and on a GameStop shelf in the same time. I just never got it and never heard anything about it until the second one was announced.

I’d watch James play through Psychonauts. It’s so fun watching people talk about things they love.
Elyse IS the one with a Psychonauts poster in the background of her home setup. I always thought James was more of a Dark Crystal guy.
I was in a funk and this video and the craft one really boosted my spirits. It's uplifting listening to people get passionate about something. The chemistry of funhaus is really knocking it out of the park. Thanks fam!

I know that this is technically the same show but I mean in a more serious way like a full on Let's Play and without the goofy rankings and such.

Gotta thank James for raving about this game for years. I finally got the chance to play it when it came out on PS4 and it instantly became one of my favourites. It's hard to show someone in a short video how great this game is because it gets better the deeper you delve into the story. Especially with that Milkman level.

I loved Psychonauts as a kid and still replay it today. When James first mentioned the game on Inside Gaming was when I got hooked on this crew.

Great demonstration of Psychonauts! Most people would sit and try to tell their friends "OH BUT THE DIALOGUE IS SO FUNNY!" and it would fall completely flat. James skipping that part was a smart move, it really let the other aspects of the game shine.

Recently I had the privilege to watch my younger brother play and experience Psychonauts for the first time! It was so fun watching him play a game I love so much. I had to help with some bosses so it felt like we beat it together.
Would legitimately like to see a full playthrough of the game with how passionate James is about it.
I'd say I could watch james play psychonauts for hours, but the trouble is the game's too funny and excellent to hear people talking over it

After hearing James rave about Psychonauts for so long, I bought it on Steam somewhere last year for a ridiculous 90 cents or something. I had so much fun with it and this summer I went back in for another playthrough. I 100%'ed the game last month, even though the punching minigame is incredibly frustrating with mouse+keyboard. James, if this comment somehow reaches you, thank you for your enthousiasm about the game. I totally get it now, and I probably would have never played it if you weren't such an avid fan. Thanks for getting me to play this incredibly deep, super well-crafted, awesome fun game.
Even when I’m not super into a game, if I’m watching someone play it that genuinely loves it and is interested in it, it makes it fun

This really is such a great game. The final stage was such a hassle for me but the whole thing was fun. I remember staying up all night and being on the last level for hours only for the game to freeze during the final boss fight at 4am. I turned it off, got back up at 6am and finished by 7.

Psychonauts is really one of the shiniest gems in gaming history.
reminds me of the early Ratchet and Clank games which, coincidently, are some of my favourite games.
