- In July 2022 I booked an Alaska cruise with Celebrity Cruise lines aboard the Celebrity Eclipse. It was an amazing and spectacular cruise aboard an EPIC cruise ship. The Celebrity Eclipse provides all the luxury and comfort you could ever want from a cruise line and holds its own against all competitors such as Princess, Royal Caribbean, NCL, Carnival and the like. This video covers all public areas and decks, including amenities and activities offered on this ship.

One thing that stood out to me was the filming you did while there were people drinking and enjoying themselves on the ship. All the other videos I've seen are nice, but they record in the early morning hours when the venues are almost empty. I know they do that so they're not interrupted while filming, but I like getting the vibe of the place with people present. You captured that. For an older ship, it doesn't look outdated at all and looks very clean. Thank you for taking the time to record this for us. I'm taking my very first cruise, and it's on this ship, so you did a nice job of keeping new travelers informed. Well one sir!

I knew you would present a great tour when I saw your beard. Very neat and stylish. And I figured you'd point out how stylish this ship was as well as you did. I don't want this ship to be "revolutionized" All they need to do is refurbish in the same style those areas that are getting worn and that's it. I think the new "Edge" ships don't possess the same chic qualities of this class of ship and I don't want to see their softer, trendy color schemes brought to this ship. This is a much better example of a Celebrity ship experience than those are IMO. I really like this ship and ship class. That Martini Bar area is small but like a club and it has a great ocean views (it's much different on their new ships, no ocean views, boring style).

The best Eclipse vid bar none. You have a natural eye for capturing the space in the way the navel architect intended the space to be seen.

Was a great trip…..I booked the deal or no deal while on board, and definitely try the Tuscan Grill…..1st night discount is a great price…..food is amazing! I also booked the sea otter and wildlife quest as well as the adventure cart excursion (Juneau and Ketchikan) respectively. I also booked a veranda, as it is a must on an Alaskan trip……your own private space to enjoy the glaciers……

Eclipse or Discovery Princess for a 7 day Alaska cruise?
I am loyal to Celebrity, and have never sailed princess, so I could not offer any opinion on Discovery Princess. Eclipse was awesome though!
